Reality of Ashoka University

Fees and Financial Aid:

Tuition: 10,22,700 Residence: 2,00,500 Essential Services: 5400 Total: 12,28,250 But there are merit cum scholarships and need based financial aids are available of upto 100. They give scholarship and aid to all the deserving students.

So at Ashoka the fee is around 6L for a semester which is inclusive of mess, transportation, hostel, laundry, tuition and other things. The total would be soemwhere around 12 L for the year. I think the fee is higher considering other colleges like Jindal and DU. Apart from the regular fees students spend on money from various food stalls apart from the mess and clothing, online shopping etc. The fee does not vary for any categories of student be it general or SC/ST. Ashoka offers half to full financial aids to people who cannot afford to pay the full amount.

Making bags

I will be paying 11,08,000 as a year wise fee. The break for that would be 9,27,000 for tution and 1,81,000 as residence. 50000 is a one off payment at the time of accepting the offer of admission. There is a security deposit of 75,000. Acceptance fee is 10000. There is a minimum amount of 17500 toward meal and dining facilities at the end of each semester.

This is run by philanthropists, the fee will be around 8 LPA, and up to 100% scholarship is possible based on the case. There are no on-campus jobs for students, but post graduation on-campus jobs with a good package are eligible

The fee for PhD is 50000 per month around it is 500000-600000 lakh for PHD in this University . The opportunity for scholarship in this University is not so good . The students have to go to schools near the university for some time by college

Ashoka is generous with financial aid. Once you are selected, you can apply for financial aid. they will ask for some documents and you can get financial aid easily. Else the fee for Ashoka is very high for a middle-class family to afford. They even provide full financial aid to many students. There are also few scholarships for science students. Even there are paid internships after the first year which you can apply for.

Ashoka has a need based financial aid system. Anyone who can't pay the high fees is over aid. One can also take a loan but there is never a need for that.

Yes, I received an 80% scholarship It was a waiver on tuition fee. The criteria was mostly need based, but merit was also a criteria to award this scholarship.

Review your college

My tuition fees is waived which is about an eighty percent of the total fees. Therefore i just pay for twenty percent of the fees which is around 200000. This excludes the personal pocked expenses but covers mess food

They offer a lot of scholarship from full to anything else, be it an accommodation fee waiver, or meal fee waiver or tuition fee waiver and you can always request for a review of your scholarship if you feel you need more, they are quite generous.

47% of the students receive financial aid for pursuing MA Economics and MA English courses in Ashoka University. Since Inception of Ashoka University, a financial aid of 510 crores has been provided to the students.
