Secondly, the university offers a generous scholarship scheme for meritorious students.
They are very easy to approach and provide good mentorship to the students.

Dislikes

College is having a very bad canteen whose food is not good
The hostel facilities are really poor for both boys and girls
Only core branch got internship help from college which is not so good .all interships are inside state.

College Of Engineering and Technology Review

Admission:

Good placement opportunities and located in the state capital. Many courses are available. I opted for IT branch for better scope. Admission is done on the basis of rank secured by the student in Joint Entrance Examination. OJEE is the institution which handles the admission procedure.

CET is one of the premier institutes

Remarks:

The management of the college is quite efficient, but because of the long drawn procedures specified by the government, things seem a little messy and slow. But in fact, things are quite smoothly handled by the staff. My experience at CET has been extremely good. Those 4 years have shaped me as a person. I have learnt to be more confident and follow my passion in life. It has been the place where I met some of the most important people in my life.

Remarks:

The social life of our college is quite amazing. It is a Ragging free campus. Faculties here are quite friendly and helpful. It has WiFi facilities, library facilites. Seminars, Workshops are organised by each branch.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is always updated and is more based on practical approach, The college itself provides the industrial exposure to students time to time recently before corona we visited coco-cola factory in February. The faculties are quite better in knowledge and teachers in a very simple manner and even responds to doubts even at midnight through phones. They even have quite good qualification. some good teachers are Niranjan Mishra, Anita Pritam, Biswajit samantary(teaches chemistry to 1st year)etc

Remarks:

College manager is good but can be improved. Security issue should be paid attention to. Infrastructure can be developed. Hi tech labs and equipments can be arranged.
