NIT Puducherry Ph.D. EEE Fees

The PhD fee at NIT Puducherry is among the lowest in the NIT system. For GEN/OBC/EWS category students, the first semester fee is Rs. 19,375 (including a one-time payment of Rs. 4,450), and subsequent semesters cost Rs. 14,925 each. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with a Master's degree in Engineering/Technology (M.Tech/M.E. in EEE, EE, or related discipline) or M.S. by Research with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) for GEN/OBC/EWS; 55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
Direct Ph.D. admission: B.Tech graduates from CFTIs with a valid GATE score and a minimum of 80% aggregate (8.5 CGPA) for GEN/OBC/EWS; 75% (8.0 CGPA) for SC/ST/PwD.
For Part-Time External category: Candidates with 20+ years of relevant industrial experience and only a B.Tech degree (minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA) are also eligible.

Admission Process
