- Very good faculty and they are very helpful and very knowledgeable
- You will get lots of opportunities for scholarships ( government as well as private scholarships).
- Placement and intership are pretty good like iits or better than some iits and nits

- Ya faculties are well qualified upto the degrees of phd and post docatarate but in terms of teaching they are not very good i say.they just come in class with ppts and start whispering and no one listens actually
- There are some who teach good, but don't support students.
- Some faculty isnt well versed in their subjects or simply dont know how to teach

- The college has all equipment’s necessary

Course Curriculum Overview:
The courses seem not too out of time but surely the curriculum can be a lot better . I am in first sem right now so I cannot really give a good opinion on this but what we are taught is relevant to us

- The campus of our college is very nice. Everywhere there is greenary.
- Faculty of each and every subject is very supportive and solves students doubt immediately

- The lectures get cancelled any time so the localites day gets very hectic.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year atudents becomes eligible for placements if he/she has developed or built proper skills. Many companies like Wipro, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. visit and there are a lot of offers made every year.

- The campus area is huge and the college architecture is very nice.
- There are more than 40 clubs and many sports complexes.
- A lot of events happen in the college and they happen on a large scale.
Dislikes
- Some faculty rely on old-school teaching methods so self study is often needed.
- Hostel facilities are not as modern as newer private universities.
- High cutoffs and tough enterance exams make it difficult to get in.

Placement Experience:
Good placements are offered by this college. Top companies like Tata Motors, Bajaj, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Wipro pari, etc. Average placement for mechanical branch is about 9lpa while that for computer and entc goes up to 15lpa.

- The campus is quite good and enormous, especially particular departmental buildings are good too.
- The clubs at college helps me grow my knowledge and develope myself.
- The food at the canteen and mess is quite good and you get plenty of options.
Dislikes
- There are some teaching staff members which make you regret joining COEP for some reason
Placement Experience:
I don't have much idea of placement but as far as i know the on campus placements are pretty decent, average is not too high and not too low it's just fine but if u want to land a good placement you need to develope the skills and properly learn, understand and know how to apply, whatever ur course basically means

- i like the main thing in college is extra (co correcular activities like fest and the all 54 clubs who making car and robotes and other so many things there are very good )
- i like in coep is placement and internship apportunity their are to much apportunity for placement and internship
- the main thing i like in coep hostel is their are no ragging and the campus is very beautiful and big the mess food is also good in coep and i like hostels in coep
Dislikes
- in an coep the new faculty are not so good they are like okok but the old faculty are very strect and high knoweledge co
- coep have two campus one is norh and one is south i dont like this compartment or the road which devides the college
- main thing in college that i didnot like in college is their is very few holidays
Placement Experience:
the placement is very good for e group like cs entc and electrical in and m group the placement is little low and the average package is 10 lacks per annum and the cgpa craiteria is also for placement and companies below 5 lacks are not aalowed in college

- The campus life coep has a really good campus where you explore your intrests
- Infrastructure of the campus is really great with different labs
- Coep has lots of clubs both technical and non technical where you can join
Dislikes
- Management of the college sometimes feels slow and unresponsive to the students wants
- Academic year duration for the second was really short felt a bit rushed
- Curriculum sometimes feels not relevant with subjects like biology.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was quite interested in the core engineering specifically mechanical engineering, I would like the further my expertise in aeronautics engineering that is a branch of mechanical that's why I opted this course
the curriculum is quite rigorous with many real world subjects that are being taught.
I would like to improve the teaching methods by involving more emphasis on teaching on boards rather than using ppts that is more prominent that way more clarity could be achieved in learning complicated concepts

COEP Pune is a reputed technological institute and offers decent academics and placement opportunities to the students. As far as teaching goes, you can expect to have 50-50 experience. Some of the faculties are excellent and have in-depth knowledge about their subjects, while others are not so much. COEP has a good infrastructure. The departmental labs are well-equipped.
The institute has a good placement record. The highlights of recent COEP placements show the median CTC to be around INR 5 LPA. VISA, eBay, Barclays, Oracle, etc. are among the major recruiters to visit the campus placement.
COEP’s Techfest - Mindspark is the largest techfest in Maharashtra after IITB’s techfest.
