Very good faculty and they are very helpful and very knowledgeable
You will get lots of opportunities for scholarships ( government as well as private scholarships).
Placement and intership are pretty good like iits or better than some iits and nits

Dislikes

Ya faculties are well qualified upto the degrees of phd and post docatarate but in terms of teaching they are not very good i say.they just come in class with ppts and start whispering and no one listens actually
There are some who teach good, but don't support students.
Some faculty isnt well versed in their subjects or simply dont know how to teach

All about COEP

Likes

Campus is good, Faculties are good, Good classrooms
Large campus with proper management, Proper academic structure
Proper fests, sports and event management

Dislikes

Not any specific thing, good at almost everything
Nothing more to say thats it nothing more that i disliked
Large academic curriculum and less time tto cover sylabus

Placement Experience:

Placements of COEP are worth known to everyone. Our college provides decent to good placements and is ranked No. 1 in Pune. Average package of COEP is 8.5lpa considering all branches. Campus placements take place from 7th sem whereas internship opportunities take place from 6th sem

Coep is a reputed college in Maharashtra so you get the benifit of this fact in the placements
It has a great campus situated in the heart of pune Shivajinagar
Coep exams are conducted tough so it force us to study hard.

Dislikes

Local politics is very much here. Even clubs accept people of their region only
Faculties are not mainting the status of coep which it was before a decade.
Hostel facilities are not provided same to everyone. Some blocks har more advantage over the other.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester we can apply for internship companies. And from 7th semester we can apply for full time placements. Companies visited : barclays, wells fargo, bny, Deutsche bank, mastercard , city , nvidia, pattern etc. Nonof offers made will be near about 150 from 160 students.

Campus of college is large and environmental friendly
there are many other activities than study to do
everything in college is pre-planned before one year to what to do in coming academic year

faculty thought everyone is talented so they teach us briefly

Placement Experience:

Students at COEP become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester of their B.tech program. This typically means they start engaging with potential employers in final year. COEP offers a diverse of companies for campus placement, including major tech firms, core engineering companies and financial institutions. Highest salary package is INR 50.50 LPA and Average package is INR 8.82 LPA Plans after obtaining degree include joining the workforce directly through campus placement, pursuing higher studies such as master's degree.

Likes

I specifically liked friendly environment of the people and senior.
Coep is also called college of entertainment. Here studies are excellent but with that amazing event are regularly take place
Amazing placement opportunities are available.

Dislikes

I think campus is small compared due other iit and nit
Distance between college hostel and college building.
Some faculty didn't teach well but they have full knowledge about it.

Placement Experience:

From 3 Rd semester we are eligible for internship and placement opportunities. Here comes various companies and various offers are made . Average package is around 11 to 12 lakhs and package of recent year is 50 lakhs

Campus Life is very nice. And one of the most important thing is placement.placement of our college is very good.
Placement of college are very nice . Just overwhelmed by that.
Faculties are quite good but the course syllabus management is comprehensive.

Dislikes

Campus can be more attractive quite sad because of that.
Faculties are not that much good. Don't cover syllabus.
Hostel food is very good. But there are too much issues related water.

Placement Experience:

Placement for computer engineering students is excellent. Average package for cs students is approximately twelve lakh. But for core branches like mechanical and civil there is no such scope through campus placement.

Best College in Maharashtra

COEP is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Asia. As it is the third oldest is Asia and second oldest in India after IIT Rouraki.
There are many clubs are present in my college in total about more than 52 clubs are there. So if you wanna try luck in other than enginnering, it's the best place for you.
Also, the college is one of the renowned colleges. It has its great alumni network which will help you in networking and at the time of placements.

Dislikes

The college hostel is some kinda old. The buildings are good but hostel management is worse.
In college, the professors and teachers mostly focus on your grades. The exams are difficult here. So you have to work hard to get your grades.
The hostel mess is the worst. Especially the mess of the first year. The second year is mess is quite good at start. But at the end of the year is is intolerable.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are quite good. At the start of the 7th semester you become eligible for the placements. But at the start of 5th semester you become eligible for the internships. More than 200 companies visited colleges for placements this year. The highest package is about 54 lpa and average is about 8 lpa. More than 70 percent students get placed. And my plans are probably to take a placement after the college. Or in some cases higher education.

The thing I liked most about this college is that there are a lot of clubs you can participate in. Lots of extra curricular activities are going on throughout the year.
The campus, the infrastructure is great.
The hostel facilities are also good. It will has some problems, but overall, hostel is good.

Dislikes

Most of the faculty is not supportive. Only some of them are good.
The exam schedule of the college is not great either. The academic calendar is followed, but a lot of changes take place and it confuses students.
There is regionalism in club activities. Students from a particular region, (mainly the one where the head belongs to)are preferred for higher positions.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the third year for campus placements. Aruna 80% students get placed. The highest package varies for each year. But the average package is around 8 LPA. A large number of companies come for campus placements. That makes it easier for students to appear for more interviews, and improve their chances of getting placed. For me personally, after getting the degree, I will try getting into defence forces. Until I am trying, I will work in corporate.

COEP has great campus life it conducts numerous fests and events throughout the year.Out of which the flagship events Pune Startup Fest,Zest,Mindspark, Impressions and Regatta are treat to watch.
Coep has well maintained laboratories with best equipments and well maintained classrooms.
It has very experienced facilities which teaches the syllabus effectively and are always ready to solve doubts of students.

Dislikes

The 75% attendence criteria is taken seriously which should be atleast of 60% so that students can concentrate on co-curricular activities
The conduction of three papers within a single semester of 4 months makes it very hectic for the students along with the lab submissions.

Placements of COEP are quite impressive for all the branches. Speaking of my branch Computer Engineering, the average and median package was around 16-17 lpa. Alot of companies visit COEP during the placement season. Around 85% of students were placed in last academic year. Highest package given was 52lpa.

I like the beautiful campus of coep with full of greenary
We do lot of enjoy during the college festival
Provides many opportunities important for future

Dislikes

The criteria of 75 percent attendance is nat valid
Some Faculties of college do not behavior good with students
The mula mutha river near college and the bote club canteen

Placement Experience:

Coep tech provides internship as well as placement for the students . Student from 3rd year can apply for internship and can apply for placement from last year of degree. Most of the students with no back locks get plasced in good companies with average good package

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is some what similar to IITs, where you will get the traditional knowledge of engineering.you can collect the knowledge from the department you are in by getting access to the labs and by the help of the faculties.

COEP Pune is a reputed technological institute and offers decent academics and placement opportunities to the students. As far as teaching goes, you can expect to have 50-50 experience. Some of the faculties are excellent and have in-depth knowledge about their subjects, while others are not so much. COEP has a good infrastructure. The departmental labs are well-equipped.

The institute has a good placement record. The highlights of recent COEP placements show the median CTC to be around INR 5 LPA. VISA, eBay, Barclays, Oracle, etc. are among the major recruiters to visit the campus placement.

COEP’s Techfest - Mindspark is the largest techfest in Maharashtra after IITB’s techfest.
