IMS Unison University Dehradun Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

It was my dream to do MBA and even I completed my grad in BBA as well. The faculty members are well educated, especially Swati Mam from the marketing department and Sneha Mam from Finance department. They conduct the term exams very timely.

I opted for the BBA course and it was a great journey of mine I have learned a lot from that I have improved my communication skills & personality also. there were 54 students in one section, there were 30-35 faculty in our university. the faculty qualifications are they have done Ph.D. + 10 Years of Experience.

I don't know much about the placements here, as this is my 1st year. But in MBA, placements are really excellent like students are placed in ITC, HDFC, Jaro Education, etc. In hotel management, students get selected as training in Hyatt regency, JW Marriott, etc. For MBA highest offered till now is 8.45 lakh PA. But law students also get placed easily as heard from the seniors.

IMS, Dehradun is a well known name among B-schools functioning under Uttarakhand Technical University and it made the ideal place for my MBA programme. The institute has been working since the last 25 years & it also has AICTE approval. Although this IMS offers various UG/PG programmes, MBA is the flagship course & admission process consists of the Shortlisting, Group exercise and Personal Interaction round.

The placements of the college are very good. The top prestigious company comes across for hiring fresh talent for the company. Last year TCS, Wipro, Reliance, Naukri.com, Just dial, Byjus's come to hire the fresh talent average package was offered in between 3 to 4 lakhs per anum and highest was of 12 lakhs per anum. Around 90% of the students get placed in the company.

I like accounting and maths so chooses BCom Hons but as I had other subjects as well I got my I interest in marketing so for career chosen marketing. Faculty is good and helpful almost all the faculties have done PhD. The teaching method is also nice. 3 exam sessions were there in 1st semester. The first term. The second term and the third term. Exams are quite easy if you have paid attention to your lectures and have studied.

Placements are quite average. I was placed in Indiabulls. Though I did not join there as my interest was in marketing now. The package was low 3 lakhs per annum. Many more placement companies came and the average package was similar only.

The placement is something we look at very first because everyone is fond of the return from the investment. For undergraduate courses students sits in the placement drives after 5 semesters and for Postgraduate it after 3 semesters but we also get internship opportunities in the 4 sem and if the performance is very well we can get the pre-job offer letter. The average package is around 3 to 4 lakhs per anum and the highest wall 12lkh per anum last year. Most all the students get placement opportunity rest is upto the performance of the candidate. Companies that visited the college last year was TCS, Naukri.com, Wipro, reliance, etc.

(ii) Byjus, Meritnation, Reliance Jio, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klien, Policy Bazaar, Audi India, Oyo, Hdfc bank ltd. , Axis bank, Jaro education, etc. (iii)Highest in 2017-2019 was 12.00 LPA offered by Jaro education and the average was 3-4 LPA. (iv) 80% (v) I planned to work with the company I got placed with but to certain conditions, I couldn't make it.
