About my college

A minimum of 50 % 10th and 12th marks required. A PI session was taken by the admin there. Then submission of fees and got that admission. Not too lengthy a process. They have almost all courses where I opted for BCom Honours. The best course that now I feel there is of hotel management. Law is also there.

I liked Accounting and maths so chooses BCom Honours but as I had other subjects as well I got my interest in marketing so for career choosed marketing. Faculty is good and helpful almost all the faculties have done PhD. The teaching method is also nice. 3 exam sessions were there in 1 semester. The first term, the 2nd term and then the last term. exams are quite easy if you have studied well and paid attention in the lectures.

Placements are quite average. I was placed in Indiabulls. Though I did not join there as my interest was in marketing now. The package was low 3 lakhs per annum. Many more placement companies came and the average package was similar only.

When I got admission there based on my 12th percentage I was given a 30% scholarship for the 1st semester but the college fees and hostel fees kept on increasing for the newcomers and even for me, the hostel fees got hiked like around 6000.

The annual fest is superb. though the weather of Dehradun is the best part of the college as the location is Mussoorie road. whether it's summer or winter everyone enjoys that location. Freshers were good even farewell was quite amazing. The library is big you can get many many books there. Classrooms were hygenic and projectors were there in each and every class.

Hostel fees were high according to the rooms were not worth it. But yes the safety for girls hostel was superb. guards were there all over so loved that part. Meals were also okay. They spend all 3 years in a hostel only.

Only a personal interview was taken by an admin. No other GD or test was taken so it was kind of easy to get an admission there. I haven't prepared for any round was in my natural form and got the admission. I usually do this only.
