The second best college under WBJEE

Our college has an extremely low fees structure of just 35000 rs. There are lots of scholarships opportunities. Placement is pretty decent at least in our branch with most students getting jobs. Fees is a standout point for our college.

Insights of Rajabazar Science College

Course Curriculum Overview:

The facilities mostly focus on research, and encourage students to do so too. We have 11 professors for a batch of 36. So the faculty: student ratio is quite good. The facilities are quite highly qualified as most of them hold post-docs from various renowned institutes from all over the world. We also have faculties who have been gold medalists in IITs. So, the Faculties are actually good. However, the administration is not so good as our exams are mostly late, and we receive our results atleast 6 months after we have given the exam. Also, the exams are actually much more difficult than most other institutes.

The fee structure for BTech is very less. You may have to pay around 32k in 4 years. Yes, there are many scholarships available in college. I am not sure about the hostel fees but it is a very minimum amount as compared to other universities.

I will recommend University of Calcutta

Each semester costs five thousand rupees. A lot of scholarship comes from the government of West Bengal depending upon higher secondary. I am still studying so I can't appear on placement rounds. Mainly Haldia petrochemical, Jk tyres, Burjer, Asian paints, are the mass recruiters. Some students also go to PSUs by GATE. Our faculties arrange special classes for GATE and they are very useful.

Rajabazar science college

Merit cum means scholarship for poor and meritorious students students are enabled to get a stipend depending on their fathers income and also half and full wavier of TUTION fees for poor students.Money is not a bar to education here.

Students from needy family can get tuition fees waiver benefits which will decrease the semester fees very much. Students can get SVMCM scholarship. But I am not much aware about the University Scholarship scheme. Students of this College can get educational loan from any bank very easily.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fee structure is very nominal. Since it is a Government College, heavy subsidies are provided. Fees have to paid at the time of admission, for the first year. Thereafter, fees have ro be paid every 6 months.
