RBU Kolkata B.F.A Painting: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The Visual Art, Painting course admission process includes an application form, entrance exam with over 3,000 candidates, and a grammar and language test. Out of these, 67 applicants are interviewed, and 14 are chosen for the course. The college ensures a ragging-free environment and smooth campus operations with annual festivals, cultural events, and educational tours enhancing the cultural atmosphere. The fee structure is reasonable, comprising only tuition and examination fees per semester, with minimal extra contributions for events.

While internships are not offered, the college provides placement opportunities post-academic sessions, with alumni securing positions in top multinational companies. Several scholarships are available: a 25,000 scholarship for female students per graduation program, a 30,000 merit scholarship for students achieving over 75% whose fathers are not in government jobs, and an 8,000 annual scholarship for reserved category students.
