Aliah University Kolkata B.Ed : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

To gain admission to Aliah University, candidates must fill out an online form and take the Aliah University Common Entrance Test (AUAT). Successful candidates are then listed online and can proceed to online counseling for admission. The university's faculty quality varies by department: English, B. Ed, Education, Mass Communication, and Geography have good faculty, while Arabic and Islamic Theology are exceptional. However, the faculty for History, Computer Applications, and Engineering is considered poor.

The fees for undergraduate courses are Rs. 6000 for Arts and Rs. 9000 for Science. Education and Mass Communication departments have an admission fee of about Rs. 20000. Hostel charges are Rs. 300 monthly, with an additional Rs. 1500 per month for meals. The university's placement record is improving, with around 200 students placed in companies like TCS, Amazon, Wipro, and Oppo, and 20 Education department students employed as teachers at Delhi Public School. Scholarships are available for students below the poverty line pursuing undergraduate and master's degrees.

PhD candidates who pass the Research Education Test (RET) are eligible for a Rs. 10,000 monthly scholarship.
