Students are eligible for campus placements after the 7th semester at Aliah University. Recently, 10 students were hired by Byju's, with 4 from mechanical engineering and 6 from electrical engineering. The highest salary package offered is 50 lakh INR per annum, while the average salary is around 7 lakh INR per annum. About 20-30% of students secure placements. Internships start from the 5th semester, with paid opportunities available in core branches.
After the 4th semester, students must complete a major project every semester. The university's fee structure, unchanged for five years, is approximately 15,000 rupees annually, totaling around 45,000 rupees for the entire course. Although the university does not provide its own scholarships, eligible students from West Bengal can apply for the Aikyashree scholarship, offering 60,000 rupees per year, and the Central National Scholarship Portal (NSP), offering 20,000 rupees per year.
