Admission to the college is through counseling by Uttarakhand Technical University, with notifications typically received in July. The college has experienced faculty, many with doctorate degrees, including retired professors from prestigious institutions like IITs. However, there's a growing number of new, less experienced faculty. The annual fee for hostel students is about 1,94,500 INR, which is quite high and challenging for many to afford. Placement opportunities are limited, with only a few IT companies—HCL, EMICON, ARNAV INFOSOFT, and EMINENCE—conducting recruitment drives, offering packages between 2 to 3 lakhs annually.
About 20 students have been placed so far. Internships are provided but without any stipend. The college does not offer its own scholarships, but students can access financial aid through government scholarships. There's a noted need for fee concessions for students with financial difficulties.
