Kumaun University DSB Campus Nainital Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

By the end of the 7-semester students are eligible for placement and for an internship after 4 semesters. As the package is not disclosed because it is a government college, but the decent package is offered by companies to students. Everyone can sit in placement but the company required more than 65+ percent overall, so you have to maintain it. My plans to do m.sc forestry or to do good jobs.

Pros as the placement committee are very corporative and active they try to make possible all the ways for the students getting placed. But the cons are that as the college is away from metropolitan cities so very fewer companies came for the student to get placed and get a job as in college most of the courses are traditional students have to work by themselves to get a good job. There are very less students getting placed approx 5%.

This is one of the oldest and biggest college in the uttrakhand region with over 10000 students and a lot of courses. So you can have a very wide social circle. The enviornment and facultys are also really good.

I wanted to take BSc in CS plus this is a government college so tuition fee is quite low.And the college is in very beautiful location. The thing I like about my college is it has very good faculty.Hostel is also available.

Administration, environment, place, it's rank, facilities, infrastructure, highly qualified professors, good in other activities like sports,dance, singing,also good in terms of politics, nice campus environment

I have been brought up in nainital and since it's the only college here I took an admission here The forestry department faculty is also good and really supportive. I think there is a lot of scope in forestry in the coming years so that made me chose this subject. The university sort of lacks the focus on co curricular events As in today's world you need to be an all rounder and just scoring jn academics won't take us anywhere so the university should try to conduct more cultural events like esssay writing competitions group discussions and different cultural clubs too. These clubs really help in the overall development of the student

First is due to its good acadmics result, MBGPG is famous in haldwani for scoring good marks in UG as well as PG courses. MBGPG not only concentrate on acadmics but also focuses on other mind refreshing activities. Culutural progames happens in a equal interval of time.If you are a student of having a dream to join army, then NCC is also available in MBGPG college which will introduce you how things happen inside army, how much discipline you should have on yourself, how important is to live a healthy and fit life. All these point attaracts me or excited me to join MBGPG college.Another reason is that,it was nearer to my house as well.

My university has good faculty,And infrastructure also good. I just wanna do graduation so i choose dsb campus because it's near from my home.And I got IT subject so It drove me more interested cuz I'm more inta computer.

firstly i tried for the engineering but i couldn't crack the exams and i didn't want loss of a year for my next attempt, so i took admission for the graduation hoping that i could practice for another attempt of JEE. but circumstances becomes such that i liked the course of my graduation so i dropped the idea of engineering. and on the question of why mbpg, it's simple and obvious. mbpg college is the largest and most populous degree college of kumaun, and also it is nearest to me. my sister has also done her graduation from here, she was also of the factor to choose this college, and mainly my moto was to complete my graduation as easily and as comfortably as possible. on the question of why choosing this course, i love physics, and my interest of physics drove me to study physics and choose this course.

This place have a great amount of knowledgeable professors, who are very helpful and kind. "To pursue knowledge you gotta persue a knowledgeable person" that's what drove me to this college. This college have a beautiful campus where everyone feels relaxed.
