Placement Experience:

There is less placements in our college with most of the companies are from off campus which makes it difficult to land a job.There are a min of 5 interview round in a company.Students are eligible from their 3rd year.Highest package is of 33 laks from visa.Percentage is around 35% getting placed. companies like hsbc, cognizant, capgemini etc are there to hire.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to be a software engineer and also because dehradun is a great place. My decision to be in this college is not because of it's curriculum because usually college's have same syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Btech for the fact that I liked the idea of how easily things could be done with coding. The curriculum does prepare us for the real world applications by providing us an insight on how things work in the field of technology. The areas of improvement in the course curriculum could be more focus on computer and related subjects rather than on theory subjects which are in no relationship with tech. The exams are conducted quarterly in a year. The difficulty level seems to be pretty average , which can be easily conquered through revision pf concepts and going through pyqs

I want to do coding thats why i choose Compuer science engeenering and even i never did coding . but when i came here our faculty teaches us C programming in our first sem very nicely . now i like c programming . in exams level of exam is moderate .

Placement Experience:

The college provide us the average placement of around 10 lakhs for annum inside the campus and the outside the campus it is more than that and internships are also there for students and multiple companies like paypal ,swiggy etc sponsor the placements

I have been placed at a decent package which i believe is good during the recession phase . It was from an on campus placement and i am very fortunate about it . I appreciate the college's efforts to provide placements .

The courses are structured in such a way that the students don't face any diffuculty to study and the entire course is relevant to the real world applications. The curriculum is comprehensive and makes it much demanding in today's growing technological world. The teaching method are more based in practical learning anf there are exams held twice in a semester as mid-sem exams and end-sem exams. The difficulty level lies between moderate to tough level.

The curriculum prepares the students for the real world applications and set fit in the industry. The course curriculum is made so that the students can pursue the course with ease. The exams happens twice in a semester as mid-semester and end-semester exam. It is moderate to little high level of exam. The curriculum focuses on practical learning more than the theoritical concepts.

What is your review of Graphic Era University?

Here is a brief review of Graphic Era University. 

  • The college infrastructure is average. The sports facilities are not good.
  • The faculties have good educational backgrounds. But most of the faculty members don’t put in the required effort.
  • The hostel accommodation is decent. The food offered at the mess is decent.
  • The CS department has good placement records. Around 80% of students get placed from this branch. The average CTC offered at the institute is INR 5 LPA. But for other branches, placement chances are less than 20%.
  • Graphic Era charges huge fees. A BTech degree costs around INR INR 13.32 Lakhs.

Overall, Graphic Era University is average at best.
