Disciplines include Biochemistry, Business Management, Commerce, Computer Science, Education, Geography, Hindi, History, Journalism and Mass Communication, Mathematics, Political Science, Sanskrit, Zoology, Ancient Indian History, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Statistics. The Ph.D is offered in distance mode with periodic personal contact programmes at the Prayagraj campus. Admission is through a written entrance examination followed by an interview.

One-year diplomas at UPRTOU span management, health sciences, technology, and social sciences, with fees from INR 3,600 to INR 8,200.
