Eligibility

Candidates must have completed any teacher education program recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) through the traditional Face to Face Mode from Uttar Pradesh or any other state. Or Candidates who have worked as trained teachers in any primary school located in Uttar Pradesh and have completed a teacher education program recognized by NCTE through the traditional Face to Face Mode.
OR
Candidates seeking admission to the B.Ed. program must hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in Science, Social Science, or Humanities with at least 50% marks. Additionally, candidates with engineering or technical degrees with specialization in Science and Mathematics must have at least 55% marks at the graduate or postgraduate level or equivalent qualifications to be eligible.
OR
Candidates eligible for admission to the B.Ed. program should have passed a graduate examination with two subjects recognized by a recognized university. These subjects must include one subject at the graduate level and one subject at the intermediate level. The subjects can be any of the following: Hindi, English, Mathematics, Environmental Science, General Science, Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, and Commerce.

How to Apply?

Visit the official UPRTOU admission site and register for the entrance exam.
Fill the entrance-exam application form online, providing necessary details and selecting course.
Upload required documents and pay the specified fee.
Download admit card and appear for the entrance test on the scheduled date.
Based on the entrance exam result and verification of documents, final admission is granted.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The grand total of my course fees was INR 32,400 including tuition fees of INR 16000 and exam fees of INR 200 paid in both the years separately making it a grand total of INR 16,200 yearly. The course fee is very feasible and can be afforded by everyone.

My B.Ed journey

The entire course fees for this course was 12,200. We did not need to pay the fees altogether. The university faculty took the fees from the students on semester basis. The fees included, Registration fees, tuition fees and examination fees.

My journey with UPRTOU

The fee is pretty affordable and costed me around 13 thousands for a year. The standard fee structure for B.Ed remains more or less the same but I really liked the course material of my college and would have preferred only my college among the others.

Nice Faculties

The fee for a year here is ? 16,200 which is exceptionally low fee with tremendous amount of education. Its a value for money education unlike other colleges and universities. A well structured course with high education and low fee attracts students here also

Yes, indeed, working professionals can pursue B.Ed course in distance mode at UPRTOU Allahabad and you can apply for the same by August 2024.

Students from other states are also eligible to pursue their higher studies at UPRTOU through correspondence learning. However, the university does not have any study centres in Assam.

As per the latest updates from Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU), the registration process for the Certificate in Laboratory Techniques (CPLT) has started for the 2022 academic session and the last date to apply for the course is 31^st July 2022.

You can get admission to the Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc) program on the basis of scores of the last qualifying examination followed by the counseling procedure. The registration process for the course has not started yet for this session.
