Ques. Can non-teaching freshers apply for UPRTOU B.Ed or is it only for working teachers?

Ans. UPRTOU’s ODL B.Ed is specifically designed for in-service teachers working in Uttar Pradesh or candidates who have already completed an NCTE-recognized face-to-face teacher education programme. Freshers who are not currently employed as teachers and have not completed any prior teacher education programme are not eligible for this ODL B.Ed. They would need to apply for a regular on-campus B.Ed programme instead.

Ques. Is UPRTOU B.Ed valid for government teacher recruitment in Uttar Pradesh?

Ans. Yes, B.Ed from UPRTOU is approved by NCTE and recognized by UGC-DEB, making it a valid qualification for applying in state government teacher recruitment such as UP TET and SUPER TET.
