Despite the supportive environment, the exam schedule has been criticized due to insufficient preparation time, as exams start only a month after the even semester begins. Starting in the second year, students engage in internships, which may be paid or unpaid, focusing on skill development rather than grades.

This approach positively impacts job placements, with average packages ranging from 3 to 3.5 LPA, and top performers securing over 10 LPA. Employers offer roles such as character design artist, rigging artist, VFX artist, and editor. The annual tuition is Rs. 180,000, with an admission fee of Rs. 30,000 and an examination fee of Rs. 12,000, which increases by 5% yearly. There is also a Rs. 6,000 examination fee and a late payment penalty of Rs. 2,500 per day.

Merit-based scholarships are available, based on 12th-grade marks and SUAT scores, offering up to a 60% waiver on tuition for eligible students. Additionally, a 5% fee waiver is provided for some students.
