To apply for admission, candidates must complete the UPCATET form available in February and take an entrance test. Successful candidates are invited for counseling, where seats are allocated based on test ranks, after which they join their allotted college. The faculty is highly qualified, often including scientists, offering a practical approach to education. Tuition fees are 20,500 rupees per semester, with an examination fee of 3,000 rupees and a hostel fee of 5,000 rupees per semester.

Upon graduating in agriculture, students have various placement opportunities with companies in sectors like seeds and fertilizers and can pursue government jobs as Agricultural Officers or roles in the banking sector. In the final year, students engage in a RAWE project, gaining hands-on experience by working on farms and helping farmers increase their income. Each student receives an internship stipend of 36,000 rupees. The college offers scholarships primarily from the UP government, and students can also consider bank loans to finance their studies.
