IVRI Placement 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

The Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) has established a placement cell to enhance job opportunities for students. Although many graduates secure government positions, the institute attracts companies from the milk, meat, pharmaceutical, nutrition, and poultry industries. IVRI is known for producing professionals like IAS officers, scientists, and veterinary officers. The internship program is a compulsory 12-month rotation offering a stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month, with opportunities in hospitals, zoos, and various veterinary units.

Additional stipends are provided to top students, with the highest being Rs. 5,000 monthly. While the internship provides valuable experience, there are concerns regarding the low stipend amounts compared to other institutions. Students also benefit from the NTS scholarship if they maintain a CGPA of 7 or above.
