IVRI Faculty

The faculty at IVRI is comprised entirely of highly qualified scientists who have cleared exams like ARS and NET, setting them apart as the cream of veterinarians. This institution uniquely benefits from having scientists rather than PhD students as educators, a distinction not common in other Indian colleges. The teacher-to-student ratio is approximately 1:20, with about 200 scientists involved in the degree program, ensuring substantial interaction and personalized attention. Despite some faculty being occupied with research, leading to PhD students occasionally taking classes, the overall teaching environment is supportive and encouraging.

Practical classes, an emphasized component of the curriculum, are conducted thoroughly, enhancing the learning experience. Examinations consist of 3 internals and 1 external, totaling 40 and 100 marks respectively.
