IVRI Course Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science [BVSc] & A.H. program at Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) is primarily based on NEET scores. Candidates must have a minimum of 75% in their 10th and 12th-grade exams. The selection process involves both VCI and IVRI counseling. The application form is accessible on the IVRI website following NEET results. The general category cutoff rank is typically less than 40,000, while for OBC it is 45,000 and for SC/ST it reaches up to 65,000.

General candidates need 630+ marks, OBC candidates 600+. SC and ST candidates benefit from reservations, with 15% and 7% respectively. There are 55 seats available, including 50 through college counseling and 5 through all-India counseling; some are payment seats requiring higher fees. The admission form fee is ?500 for general and ?700 for SC/ST candidates. There are no state quotas, allowing nationwide eligibility. Internals occur thrice yearly, while the final exams are more challenging.

Management quota seats are also available with a cost significantly higher than regular fees.
