IsDC, the college amidst peace

Likes

Environment is very good especially the ambience and quietness. It really helps to focus on studies and being a central university is very hard to find peaceful environment in any other colleges under UA
Teachers are very supportive and the staff is also very great. Any issue regarding furnishing and needs of students and also they do consider to create discipline unlike other colleges that only consider studies
Also the infrastructure is very new. Plants and flowers all around and the ground is really big if you need to keep things out of mind and go out for a walk. It really is surrounded by trees providing good environment.

Dislikes

The library needs to be renewed cause the university is very old and due to this strong need of library because students need to look for books and process of getting a book is tough and time consuming.
Also the need for time management is very important. Students have to stay at college for far too long time and it becomes exhaustive after 6 hours to sit without break. It reduces drive to study afte sometime.
Class shifts are sometimes irregular although not very big issue but still it can be looked at. Sometimes teachers are very strict and feels like more of a school and less of a college we are in and that's one issue.

Well the ballb is one really hard course which requires a lot of focus and efforts to perform well in. Most of the times students don't perform good because of harshness in copy checking. Although the course and curriculum matches, what's best is that moot courts help for practical application of course and college really puts a lot of efforts into this

Likes

The faculty is well experienced and educated most of them have doctorates.
Lots of teachers for each and every subject and paper so there's no shortage.
The newer labs for example biochemistry are well equipped.

Dislikes

The city offers little to no recreation and is quiet small.
The labs for old departments like chemistry and zoology are vey rusty and old. Many equipments don't work and need repair.
Again the classroom for older departments are really old they have really poorly lit clasrooms that get really hot in summers.

The curriculum is quiet standard. You gain mostly theoretical knowledge and a little bit of practical knowledge too. Biochemistry and chemistry practicals can be useful in real world scenarios. The zoology practicals are quiet boring and not that useful it is mostly writing assignments.

Likes

In my course, regular classes were there .
Since I was a regular atendee of the classes so everyone had a good interaction with my batchmates.
There was a sense of belongingness there in the university.

Dislikes

There was no proper college dress and attire.
Although attendence was compulsory but it was not followed properly.
Some classes were taken by scholars but not professors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was good. Since I took Mathematics and statistics so I had the opportunity to explore the dynamics of the subjects. Well, Statistics is quite useful in various aspects of our society.

Things that i like most is the harmony between seniors and juniors.
There are very good infrastructure and clean environment.And also the boy and girl ratio is almost same.
You can participate in many cultural activities.Faculties are too good.

Dislikes

There are some old buildings which should be replaced.
Job and placement opportunitis are low in arts faculty.

I am doing graduation in psychology and you can read here practically in psychology lab and you can also participate in many mental health awareness pragrammes. Exam are held annually and after two or three months you can get your results.

There are regular classes which I like quite much.
I also like the location of University too as it's easy to reach.
I personally like the library here very much.

Dislikes

There is no separate canteen facility for girls and boys so there is too much crowd.
The distance between departments is quite much which is exhausting.
There are a lot of squabbles between people's in college too and they are quite frequent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching method of teachers is quite good but I think ancient history could be taught in a better way. As it doesn't seem very intresting. The frequency of exams is good too as it doesn't feel like burden due to yearly system

Likes

Historical buildings study and peaceful environment
Faculty are good and teachers are very supportive
Campus placement and teaching is also good

Dislikes

Classes are not regular and there is some problems

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from final semester they get admission and study hard finally they achive there placement too highest package around 10 lakhs and lowest 3 lakh i think its a quite good amount

College administration is helpful for students.
Students have there separate portal for any query.
The college campus is tobacco and ranging free.

Dislikes

Attendance percentage is not compulsory in classes.
Campus has a separate area for couples I didn't like it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Placements at our college are huge . The lowest salary package offered was 6LPA. Companies like Sipla , Biocon , Ranbaxy and Reliance Life sciences visit our campus to offer roles like biochemist , biotech analyst.

The faculty is amazing with such highly qualified professors learning becomes more efficient plus they are always ready to help which is great.
The library is amazing dully air conditioned for the ease of students. Every subject related book is usually available there also they provide study material required for the semester to borrow and after semester we submit them and issue new one.
The whole building has central and labs are great to work in for beginner every practical is usually practiced.

Dislikes

Even though everything is great management is a little out of the zone as students sometimes you'll only be tangled in exams and assignment and wont get the real time to actually study the subject so spend your time wisely.

Placement Experience:

Placements does happens however not much companies are there to show up. You are eligible after your last year of graduation or post graduation. The average package is usually three lakh oer annum the package may vary though...

The teaching facility is very great and easy to understand
Facility that are in the campus is excellent

If you are new and do not know anything you can't survive here

This course provides you all the knowledge which you need in upcoming study and also it prepares to stand in real word confidently although the teaching methods are very good but teachers should be more available to students and there help.the difficulty level of exam is very high not every person can pass out easily
