A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

Likes

The classrooms are too spacious and hygenic , so no need of improvement in this and the greenary in the campus is also commendable, so minimum chance of pollution.
Campus life is good as we have deep interaction with our seniors and faculties , and the quality of social life is also worth noting.
All the facilities are good in their field of expertise but some improvement needed in their teaching method and the way how they mentor /counsel the students.

Dislikes

First thing i disliked is the people wasting their time sitting in the library canteen for hours without having any productive conversations
Some facilities are just not up to date with the subject they are teaching, so their knowledge needs to be enhanced a lot
The typical traditional methodology of writing lab manual is also tiresome, though practical is good but lot of time wasted in writing files and assignments.

Placement Experience:

Basically, if we're talking about M.tech. students are eligible for campus placement in second year of the course. Many companies have visited so far in the past like L&T , VIT( for Assistant professor) , EIL (for top rank holders) , etc with good CTC packages. My plan is to join any renowned PSU, if selected after completion of this course, as im preparing for it.

Review of my college and my department

Likes

My experience in my college is very good as we have very good faculty atmosphere and very talent teachers and faculties
Our campus area is a very good and beautiful filled with flowers and many fees it is it feels like a beautiful nature as IT comprises of nursery and nature
The quality of infrastructure including my department is very satisfactory

Dislikes

The things I display about my college is that we don't have girls and boys class that is hard to interact with girls will be talk about when we interact with new girls it is hard for me to interact to them with them
Most of the teachers are very attitude and full of arrogance they are rude to the students as they don't show any humbleness with any students day event the event did not teach us well and provide no knowledge
One more thing I dis like about my college is my college didn't have any fest and events many of the many of the day went useless they don't have any curriculum and other things which engage accident in various activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am pursuing BCom honours so my course curriculum is very relevant like we have accounts business management economics text subject so itsy for us who have pursuit commerce in class 12th that it will easy for them to complete the course

Aligarh Muslim University through Me

It was nice to study there the faculty there was very good and also the opportunities that we got there the quality of social interaction was also very good. The teaching methods and the expertise of the faculty was very nice

Placement Experience:

From 7th or 8th semester the students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies like Tata and many tech companies have visited our university and they they have made many offers. There are almost 30% students getting placement

Review of my college university and my campus area

Likes

I like the environment of aligarh muslim university
And the best thing was its teachers and staff members
And the campus area was very big and surrounded with flowers

Dislikes

I hate its protest system many protest doesn't not found worth
Sometimes our professor doesn't take class on time
And our department is not well furnished

Course Curriculum Overview:

On the scale of 10 I will wait my course 7 because it is lacking some of portion it's my course curriculum and that's some the some of the subject is not up to the mark and irrelevant to the co-striction

My college is not only a college but it's an emotion for me.

Likes

My college campus is neat and clean, Parking facilities are also available,
In my college professors are very polite and humble, There teaching style is very unique and practical,
In my college my campus life is good, my senior always help me, They guide me for my future, They help me for choosing my carrier.

Dislikes

In my college, girl college are at different place, girl college is separate only for girls, There are no co-ed classes.
My college placement is not good, average package is approx 30000 that is not enough for modern life.
In my college professors are coming late in my class that may change in my college.

Placement Experience:

In my college last semester students are eligible for campus placement. Various companies like zomato, McDonald's, and other local companies are visited and approxe 100 to 150 offers made In my college average package is approx 300000 per annum but highest package is 800000 per annum. 10-15 % students getting placement. My plan is going to abroad Country after getting the degree.

Dinning food specifically non veg is good.
Quality of room is okay as compared to private hostel.
Common room or gaming room is fantastic.We have Table Tennis,Chess and Carrom.We also have TV so that we can watch cricket.

Dislikes

Washrooms are stinky.Many people do not even flush their sin.God help them.
My seniors are dominating and are the followers of patriarchy.
Canteen is a joke.They served us rotten snacks.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to participate in placements 2nd last semester of there course. Aligarh Muslim University placement is quite good Average package is 7-8 lakh per annum. Highest package is more than 50 lakhs Percentage is not considered for placement but 50% in all subjects is good and minimum

the girl boys ratio is 1 on 1 and total student is 120
My campus life is good i feel very happy.
Infrastructure of our college is good and best.

Dislikes

the behavior of student of our class and there attitude.
the system of our management is not much fast as it should be.
the course i study in my college is not so good.

our course is not so much good as compare other course . Beacause it cannot give us practical knowledge they only give us the bookish knowledge. thats why our batch mate and also me are very lack of skill.

Likes

The first and foremost is that it has very good culture and behaviour of the employees and seniors is very good.
The college has top notch facilities with many years of experience
Environment is so good that I can't describe in world

Dislikes

Freshers have to wait for hostel accommodation,they can get accommodation early if they know any senior there

Placement Experience:

Yes , my university do provide placement opportunities to the graduated and post graduated student. From the last semester of their course or after completion of their course ( in some cases ) After getting a degree i will definitely sit for a interview and give my best to get placed

Amu bcom student????

Likes

Teachers are cooperative and well behaved
Most of teachers are phd holders or has done masters
Helps students in his troubles and give their advice.

Dislikes

Total number of Placement isn't satisfactory
Even if you get placement salary isn't satisfactory
Girls and boys have separate colleges too

Placement Experience:

Placement is shitty in bcom my plan is to complete my course and continue post graduation and do a phd to make some money. But I would still say it's better than most of the colleges for bcom because it gives opportunities to pursue any professional course like CA/CS/CMA
