Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Chennai, popularly known as Vels University is a deemed-to-be university approved by UGC. The university also holds the approval of AICTE, PCI, BCI, DGS, GOI & MHRD. As per the NIRF Report 2023, Vels University's Overall ranking is 101 out of 200 colleges in India. I chosen this college because of the distance. I have searched the colleges near to my residence but many of them didn't have this B.ed course . Atlast I have found this college and I approached in offline only . Then the staffs was given the instructions and there approach is very good and instructed me how to apply in online. Then I have applied in online . As soon as I applied they have added me in the class group and also called me and updated the fees structure and also provided me the instructions for orientation program

There is one scholarship entrance exam for Vels University named VSAT. This will help students to pursue their higher studies with scholarships upto 75 percent. Otherwise, there is no entrance exam for admission.

Eligibility - 12th pass with PCMB or PCB with >75% score you can directly visit the Vels University, pallavaram campus get the application and interact with the faculty they will let you know everything about the course and fee structures. Dates before june end Exams - CAT exams are quite easy and not so hard and it carry only 50 marks the syllabus of the first 2 chapters of the running subject timing will be morning from 9 to 10.30 am same time applies for CAT 2 in another 20 days with the syllabus of next 2 chapters Model exams are occur with the full portion in a month from CAT2 timing 9 am to 12pm

Vels University Scholarship 2024
Scholarship provided by the college.
Vels Institute of Science Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Pallavaram Chennai conducts V-SAT 2024, a scholarship admission test to offer 100% scholarships to more than 1000 students to pursue their undergraduate program at their campus.
V-SAT 2024 will be conducted in an online mode from April 15, 2024 to April 22, 2024.
The results of VSAT 20204 will be published on their website and can be accessed through the link http://www.velsuniv.ac.in/

After appearing for VSAT, you need to wait for the results to come out. Once the results are out, then you need to appear for VSAT Counselling process The counselling schedule will be sent to mobile number or email ID. You also need to submit the documents at the time of counselling.
It is expected that the VELS University will conduct V-SAT (Vels Student Aptitude Test) in April 2024. This is because, last year the examination was done from 24th to 29th April 2024. The examination was in online mode. The subjects were Quantitative, Verbal and Logical Reasoning.
PhD in commerce is a full-time course at the VELS University. As per the regulations governing the Ph.D. Degree, the number of seats available in different disciplines are notified for information to the interested candidates to apply for the Ph.D. program. The eligible candidates will be informed to appear for a common entrance examination in the respective disciplines followed by an oral test.
Admission to PG courses is done based on VELS entrance score followed by interview and through CAT/MAT/XAT for management courses.

To be eligible for M.Sc in Data Science & Business Analytics, you can have any degree with mathematics or statistics, or mathematical physics as the main or allied subject.
The age limit for L.L.B is as per norms of BCI and you must have completed graduation from a recognized board to get admission to VELS University.
