According to Jaisharen S's review, the admission process at PRIST University was mainly based on limited options and time limitations. Following an unsatisfactory CLAT performance and the majority of college applications closing, Jaisharen settled on PRIST because there were not many other options and because of his personal situation. Admission was obtained via the management quota, for which a donation had to be made. He classifies the process as simple but not all that competitive or merit-based. Although he did not originally want to come to the college, he indicates that changes in management within the last year have made some positive changes. In all, his admission process was a compromise instead of a deliberate choice.
