IIM Trichy offers a comprehensive hostel facility, included in the tuition fees, with mandatory residency for all students. There are currently 7 hostel blocks, divided into 3 for female students and 4 for male students, each having 4 floors with 16 rooms per floor. Rooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and primarily single occupancy, though some are twin-sharing due to increased batch size. Facilities include Wi-Fi, LAN connectivity, attached washrooms, balconies, and 24/7 security.

The mess, managed by a student committee, provides meals four times a day, offering a diverse menu catering to both North and South Indian tastes. The registration process is straightforward and occurs automatically upon admission. Additionally, there are canteens and departmental stores within the campus for convenience. Despite some reports of room congestion and unsatisfactory food quality, the hostels are generally well-maintained with adequate facilities.
