Ques. Does MUJ BFA (Applied Arts) require any entrance exam like NID-DAT or NIFTEE?
Ans. No, BFA (Applied Arts) at Manipal University Jaipur does not require any entrance exam such as NID-DAT, NIFTEE, CEED, or UCEED. Admissions are purely merit-based on your 10+2 aggregate marks. Students with a creative background and design aptitude are preferred, but there is no formal aptitude test conducted by MUJ for this program.
Ques. What are the three specializations available in the BFA program and when do I have to choose?
Ans. The BFA program offers three specializations: (1) Advertising Design, (2) UI/UX Design, and (3) Animation Design. You need to select your specialization from Semester III onwards, and once selected, the same specialization continues till the end of the program (Semester VIII). It is advisable to explore all three areas in the first two semesters before making your choice.

Ques. What is the total cost of studying BFA at MUJ including hostel?
Ans. The total tuition fee for 4 years is Rs. 4,44,000 (Rs. 1,11,000 per year). Adding the one-time registration fee (Rs. 10,000) and refundable caution deposit (Rs. 15,000), the total program cost comes to Rs. 4,69,000. If you opt for hostel accommodation (double occupancy), the annual hostel fee is Rs. 1,74,050, which adds approximately Rs. 6,96,200 over 4 years. So the total estimated cost including hostel would be approximately Rs. 11,65,200 for the full program duration.
Ques. Can a student from a non-arts background (e.g., Science or Commerce stream in 12th) apply for BFA at MUJ?
Ans. Yes, absolutely. MUJ's BFA (Applied Arts) program accepts students from any discipline in 10+2, as long as they have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
