MUJ BBA LLB FAQs
Ques. What is the key difference between BBA LLB and BA LLB at MUJ? Which one should I choose?
Ans. BBA LLB (Hons.) integrates Business Administration subjects (Managerial Economics, Marketing, HRM, Strategic Management) with law, making it ideal for students targeting corporate law, M&A, compliance, and in-house legal roles. BA LLB (Hons.) integrates Arts subjects (Economics, Psychology, Political Science) with law, making it better suited for litigation, public law, and humanities-oriented legal careers. If you are interested in the corporate world and business law, BBA LLB is the better choice. The core law curriculum is identical in both programs.
Ques. Is CLAT mandatory for BBA LLB admission at MUJ? What other exams are accepted?
Ans. CLAT is not the only accepted exam. MUJ accepts CLAT, LSAT India, AILET, and MHCET Law scores. CLAT 2025 was conducted in December 2025. LSAT India 2026 is scheduled for April 9-11, 2026, and scores can be used for 2026 admissions. A strong 10+2 academic record and a good Personal Interview performance are equally important.

Ans. Yes, BBA LLB (Hons.) graduates from MUJ are eligible to appear for state judicial services examinations (Civil Judge / Judicial Magistrate) after enrolling as an advocate with the Bar Council. However, most judicial services exams require candidates to have practiced as an advocate for a minimum period (typically 3-7 years depending on the state), so direct entry into the judiciary immediately after graduation is not possible.
