Ques. Is there any entrance exam required for B.A. (Hons.) Economics at MUJ?
Ans. No entrance exam is required. Admissions are purely merit-based on 10+2 marks. Students from any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) with at least 60% marks in 10+2 are eligible to apply directly through the online portal.
Ques. What is the difference between the 3-year and 4-year options in this program?
Ans. Under NEP 2020, after completing 3 years, students receive a B.A. (Hons.) Economics degree. If they opt to continue for a 4th year and complete a research dissertation, they receive a B.A. (Hons. with Research) degree. Students who prefer industry exposure can complete an internship in the non-research pathway. The 4th year is optional.
Ques. What are the Minor subject options available in B.A. (Hons.) Economics at MUJ?
Ans. Students can choose a Minor from Business, Political Science, Psychology, or Sociology. The Minor runs across all 8 semesters, allowing students to build a strong interdisciplinary foundation alongside their core Economics curriculum.
