Banasthali Vidyapith-Discipline,Dreams and Dose of Reality

Likes

Banasthali provides a platform for learning wide range of skills and knowledge.It covers approximately all sports and cultural things including radio learnings ,photography and kathak.you can take part in them as your hobby.
Banasthali provides well maintained hostel rooms.They are clean ,organised and secure
Banasthali upholds academic integrity by ensuring a strict no cheating policy during exams ensuring fair evaluation system

Dislikes

Banasthali is very strict with its rules. You are not allowed to step out of campus unless you get your letter approved by 4 departments and the letter is posted by parents via courier
College follow a strict dress code .You can only wear kurtas amd in some department you’re not allowed if you arent wearing khadi.Jeans are strictly prohibited.But you can wear them in campus if your wardens are lenient
The washrooms are often unclean and not maintained regularly.

The reality of Banasthali

Likes

the faculty here is very nice and supportive and their teaching style is also very nice. They also teach extra if we want from 5 to 6.
the environment here is very good as their is dicsipline .
wardens are very nice as they care for us.

Dislikes

the approval for leaves is very hard. and their leaves have to be sent through post by the parents.
this is a only girls college and so it sometimes boring and even toxic
their is a very bad campus life as their are no good clubs. if any clubs are there then they take veryless students in it.

Placement Experience:

from 7 semester campus placements get started. wipro ,flipkart ,amazon and many other good companies come.there are a lot of offers made and 90% placement rate is there.the highest package here is 60 lpa and the highest package is 9lpa .after the placement i willdo job for 2 years and then do masters.

All you need to know About Banasthali

Likes

Faculty is extremely dedicated towards their subjects. Doubt solving sessions are held at regular intervals. The teachers are dedicated towards solving doubts of the students.
The five fold education system is the highlight. There is a never-ending list of extra curricular activities that the students can enroll into.
Highly interactive workshops are held at regular intervals which enhances the students knowledge.

Dislikes

The leave system is a little frustrating.
The college is not situated in a metro city.
Cannot go on outings even for a day even with parents' permission.

Placement Experience:

During semester 8th itself the students become eligible for the placements. Several companies visit the college and the on campus placements is not just a myth and the students actually get placed. Talking about the average package, it is 8 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 40 lpa. After getting the degree, I am going to get placed within the tech companies.

Mess food and struggling conditions during summers
Less facilities during summers in classroom and hostel.
Improper and insufficient medical facilities.

Placements and internship opportunities are very good for students here. Great companies visit college to provide placements to students and students gets hired also , they give us proper exposure during placements.

Likes

I liked the greenery they provide. A very good air pollution free area
The faculty focuses on the students very much.
Security is very good. Takes care of each thing.

Dislikes

There is no Ac in the hostel and the class. Only provided in some labs
The process for leave is bit lengthy. Takes a lot of time.

Placement Experience:

Placement are average. The company's which came are Google, Wipro, Bosch and other. I like about the thing that there is a hundred percent placement. No one would leave this college without a job. Love it

BANASTHALITE ' S REVIEW

Likes

The best thing which I liked the most here is the greenery, the nature, which is really maintained well. And I want it to stay the same.
Second thing is the placement, internship rate, some very good companies come to our campus for the season. And it is really great to see students getting packages which are worth their hardwork.
Third thing is the infrastructure, facilities and wardens. The infrastructure is very nice, the departments are really good with multiple amenities available. The facilities are very helpful and the wardens treat us as their own family.

Dislikes

First is the conservative mindset of some people here.
Second is sometimes the food is really not good.
Third is the weekend, we get only one day off on a week.

Placement Experience:

7 semester students become eligible for placements. Big companies like Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Visa, Adobe, JP Morgan, UBS, Barclays, BNY Mellon etc. comes here for placements and internship. They each take 5-10 students from batch. Highest package was 4500000 and average is 400000. 70-80% students get placements. My plans are doing a job in this software field.

Likes

Lush green campus, hostel facilities are available, women’s university, great webinar and fests are awesome. Faculty is really good thet teach everything in depth

Dislikes

Less exposure. Junior senior interaction are very less as compared to other universities you have to reach out to senior

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is great you get specialisation here from 1st year onwards like VLSI, AI and more. The main focus of why I was admission here was because I was getting a specialisation in AI. Curriculum is set according to our convenience as from the first year we get the introduction to programming and then Dsa and we can choose which language to study from 2nd year and there are practical labs where we can practice these programmes and internals and externals are aslo conducted nearby semester exams and the difficulty level is ok

Safety is main here as it is a girls college
Five gold activities are the best . They are so many types of activities in which we participate.
The hostel facility and the education here following with the placements .

Dislikes

Maybe hostels message is a bit a problem to everyone
There is an issue of distance for everyone here .
There are no AC in hostel as well as in lecture halls which makes it soo difficult to attend the classes during summer.

Placement Experience:

My college provides 100% placement to all the students and my college provides internship opportunities too during your second and third year of the college. The average package is 8 lakh per annum where as the highest package is 20 lakh per annum

I am very pleased with the hostel facilities which are exceptionally very good.
Specially I like the mess system. means there are approximately 40 hostels

Dislikes

I don't like the time boundaries like .e have to enter in the hostel before 8:30 pm and then we can't go outside from the hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We all know the use of computer science in the present time but according to their fee structure and their curriculum is not much better. according to me if they try some more effective teaching methods then it becomes easier and simpler to understand it.

Environment is very good and everyone is like family there even the staff and wardens are very supportive.

My sister chose to pursue her graduation and post-graduation from Banasthali Vidyapith. She enjoyed all of the benefits of staying on campus, such as participating in extracurricular activities, being autonomous, and so on.

Check the following points for a brief review of Banasthali University:

In terms of academics, Banasthali University has a lot to offer. It is a strong contender in many of them - computer science, MBA, Home Science, Literature and Language, Social Sciences, Mathematics, and so on.
It also has adequate sports facilities, but they can be improved. Banasthali University does not have separate coaches for many sports.
The only thing that would bother you is the strength of the classrooms. At times, it will be completely unacceptable
Banasthali VIdyapith fee structure is also inexpensive, despite any financial difficulties, you can easily cover the costs of most of the courses.

Overall, Banasthali University offers a wonderful experience. Despite its flaws as an institution, it has many characteristics that make it wonderful and valuable.
