The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Reality of BCA in Chitkara

Likes

The Teachers are bit supportive and understanding.
Collage infrastructure is technically fulfiled.
They designed their course every year according to industry.

Dislikes

There are too many students in the campus.
Some teachers do not understand teaching they are good in researh not in teaching.
the lectures ares not that much engaging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is is desgined nicely but the lectures is bit boring. I choose this coures because i have grea interest in programing. They and make lectures bit more engaging. The difficulty of exams aren moderate and all are in campus(offline).

An overview of chitkara from the pov of a fresher

Likes

The infrastructure and campus is really good and attractive
Library has a good collection of resources
The faculty is friendly and helpful in many ways

Dislikes

The crowd there is very unserious and disgusting
The attendance system is very strict and rigid
Lots of free time in between lectures and mass bunks

From 4th semester students are eligible for placements Companies like Google , amazon , wipro , infosys has visited chitkara Highest package was 10 lpa , lowest was 3 lpa 40% students get placed Looking for a job

The infrastruture is very highly advanced and good
the faculty is very friendly and supportive here
the atmosphere arround the university and greenery gives good and positive vibes whole day

Dislikes

the behaviour of security guards is not acceptable
the gate pass required to go outside the university is not

placement of the college is 99.9% and offers a good placement drive for students both having average and good academic marks and companies like ibm , mahindra , infosys etc have camed here for the placement

Atmosphere here In Chitkara is Very Fabulous. I feel like second Home here
Ambiance of this University is Awesome. Very much greenery all around and Great infrastructure.
Study is very Much Interesting and Crowd here is mix due to which we Face Every Type of Person here.

Dislikes

The campus is very Much wide in Size due to which it takes a lot of time to reach class.
The crowd here in Chitkara is very much due to Which i feel like There should be minimum students
It is very far away from my Home as it is 47kms away Sometimes i have to miss my College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I pursued Bachelors of Computer Application and i have no regrets. I feel like BCA have much scope in future like B Tech. I am currently studying C language and it is very beneficial in my Future so i am Happy with BCA

Good enviroment but bad accomodation

faculty expertise and teaching methods - The faculty at CIET are experienced and knowledgable who are well in their fields.they include the use of practical examples
Infrastructire and learning facilities - the classrooms are not very well maintained which is crucial for engineering stuudents , but the library are well stocked and equipped with digital resources
placement and career support - well connected with companies and industries that lead to average placement rates as they organise placement drives , mock interviews

Dislikes

teaching cosistency - while their are few faculty members that are excellent, there is some incosistency in teaching quality and some course could more benefit from more experienced teachers
while placements are overall good but opportunities in niche fields are limited. more focus in these areas could benefit students with specialized courses
while on-campus placments are generally good but still there are some issues with maintance and avilability during peak times and not very good comapanies come

for the placements for bca is not very good for getting placement u dont have to get backlog in any subject. not good companies are coming this year in the collgege. they give you 2 options that is on campus and off campus placement but due to not many good companies come in the placement many students in bca opt for offcampus placement in this year. and if any company come in college for bca mostly they are for sales position with less stipend

it has a very huge campus with great infrastructure and facilities
The college provides good placement opportunities

Dislikes

The gender ratio is disturbed as it is1:4 girl to boys
The tuition fee is higher as per the placement justification

The placements in this University usually start in the month of August to February will lots of companies used to visit in the campus, conduct test, interviews and select the candidates accordingly. University faculty also help the students in preparation of placement time. An average of 60-70% of students get placed every year.

All i know about My college life

Likes

the infrastructure of the campus is very good . its kind of a modern structure that everyone likes .
There is no burden on students , the test and papers are quite easy and the teachers are friendly too.
The events in chitkara University are very good as compared to other colleges . Lot of singers and celebrities come to the events .

Dislikes

The food quality is not so good tho the canteen in the college is very big and there are lot of food joints but the taste is not so good according to the price .
The uniform system in chitkara University is not a good experience we have to wear same college tshirts everyday .
During the monsoons when there is heavy rainfall the University feels like that its flooded with the water .

Placement Experience:

after the 5th semester the students are eligible for the campus placements The highest package was around 47,00,000LPA . which was from amazon alot of companies visit in our college like google amazon flipkart oyo and many more .

I really liked the cafeteria and hostel facilities provided
I really like the students they are really helpful and caring

Dislikes

The faculty and the teachers, they aren't so indulge in teaching the students
They is really less maintenance in the ground or play area

The curriculum doesn't prepare you for the real world it just help you to pass in the exams that are prepared in the colleges and get you numbers and bunch of assignments that doesn't help you in the real world The teachers should get training of how to teach the new generation students in an entertaining way

There are many types of activites included in the collage
Collafe provides u with good infrastructure.
Collage provides u with the new technology of pc in the labs

Dislikes

Collage dose not allow the students to go out before 3:30 in afternoon
To study in college student need to buy dress from the college itself and it’s expensive
The amount of fine is very high compare to other collages

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
