The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Chitkara University:Nurturing Growth and Learning in Vibrant Community

Likes

Campus life is awesome in evenings… soft songs are played.
Infrastructure is updated and is upto mark always.
Courses are provided in wide category to all students.

Dislikes

Fees is too high as no scholarships are provided.
Placement here is only ment for btech students.
Faculty staff members are not well defined according to course

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. As i was having personal interest in coding and computer line itself 2. Factuly is average. Some of teachers are well knowelged and guide us properly. Talking about student ratio in my particular course is almost okay 3. Most of faculty Staff is Phd holders and method of teaching is good as they understand the students problems 4. In my course there 3 types of exams 2 Msts One end term examination Final Exam this tym was hard to pass

DARK SECRETS OF CHITKARA UNIVERSITY

Likes

All food outlets are there with many variety of food for students.
Tports activites are excellent and proper facilies are provided by the college faculy for sports men.
Campus infrastructure and cleanliness is quite good which is mostly liked by everyone.

Dislikes

Fighs happinging in college on regular basis.
Wearing dress always which feels like same as school
not letting students to go out of college before 3:30 no matter how much emergency a person have and if someone wants to go out neends many formalities like application stamp etc.

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage is high but only for some specific courses, students can get placement opportunities in there last year or in 5 sem of college, info sis,wipro, etc many companies visit college every year for placement, highest average package is 2-3 lakhs per year, students requires more than 8 cgpa to get good placement, plans after this course are to move abroad and study for masters.

Honest review of chitkara University

Likes

Social life is good as you can interact with different type of people with different mentality.
Food outlets provide different varieties of food eg- you can get both North Indian and South Indian taste in the same places
You get 24/7 emergency support eg ambulance

Dislikes

Especially for BCA, Block for BCA demorgan block is not as good as of other blocks
Campus rules are very strict you can't go out in campus without the university dress till 4:30

Placement Experience:

Placement for undergraduate courses is not so good but you can get good placement opportunities in postgraduate courses. In BCA you are eligible for campus placement in 5th semester. Companies that come for campus placement are Infosys, Wipro and many other companies. The highest package in BCA is 5 lakh and the average is 3 lakh. Students should maintain a 7.5 cgpa in every semester to sit in the placement exam and interview. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue MCA for more good opportunities

Campus life is very good. the students studying here are very cooperative and the seriors too are friendly. they helped us a lot in the starting.
The food provided in the Square one food court is quite affordable and taste is also very good. We can order the food from the Ucampus app designed by the university students itself.
We had very less classes in the 1st and 2nd semester due to which we had extra time for studies and self-studies.

Dislikes

i prefer the teachers and the faculty here should be more qualified and should have more patience level. They should listen to the problems faced by the students.
According to the hype to the university, the studies are not benificial to us.
The university food court is overcrowded most of the times and we have to wait for hours to get something to eat. Even most of the times , we do no even get a proper place to sit and have our lunch.

Placement Experience:

The internship is provided to the students in the 5th semester. Infosys came to our university last year. 2 lakhs per annum was the average. package given to the students. The percentage of placements is very poor. out of 300 students only 3 were placed. I want to go abroad and pursue my further studies there only.

Likes

Campus life is excellent and has clubs to interact with new people
The placement opportunities available are better than most of the colleges in the region
The courses available in college are not only limited to academics and provide practical knowledge as well

Dislikes

The hostel food and hygience should be improved
Strictness on the main gate should be removed

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took BCA because it is necessary for my further studies. Moreover Chitkara provides excellent subjects like digital marketing, and artificial intelligence which might not be available in any other college. Student to faculty ratio is decent. The teaching methods of teachers are excellent since they make the use of most recent technology.

Provide Good Quality of Study. Infrastructure is Good.
campus life at Chitkara was gud there are a lot of fun events happen.
Teachers at Chitkara very helpful they help yo in research papers and projects

Dislikes

you have to wear uniform that i personally do not like.
It has some restrictions for students when going in and out of college.
Things at campus was overpriced they need to be moderate priced for students

campus is so neat and clean ,and full of green

Dislikes

there are very less things i dislike maybe food for hostels is okok.
so much strictness for hostel students..
some events are only for hostllers not for day scholars

after the second year. placements are offered to students. infosys, cisco, and many other companies visited. the highest package for mca is from 20 to 22 lakh. and a minimum of 4 to 5 lakhs, a minimum of 75 percent to get placements.

Likes

Campus facility, square one and many others things.
Classes library and events that are held by the university

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I am interested in the technical course. Qualifications of the facility are Ph.D. and their teaching method is so good. The exams are of moderate level. So that's mean everyone can easily score marks in end term exam.

Things to know before joining Chitkara University

Placement Experience:

Students get eligible from the 6th semester. There are huge companies coming here for the placement including Google, Microsoft, Wipro, Amazon, Oyo, razor pay, etc. The highest package we get to see this month is of 1Cr. The placement is according to the CGPA. I want to join a good company after getting the degree but I'll try to take it from the placement.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
