The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

The life in chitkara

Likes

I liked how clubs work and friendly the environment is in them
The students come from good family background and there isn't ragging or anything that I have faced.
There are a lot of food outlets that serve good food.

Dislikes

There are trainers teaching after 1st year which aren't as qualified
The sports here isn't much diverse and the equipment isn't good as well
The campus is very small and there are so many restrictions here as well.

Placement Experience:

There are definitely opportunities for placement but the average package isn't a lot (about 6lpa). There is an employbility test that segregates students into which companies they can be placed into for followed by test rounds and interviews for companies.

My Excellent University Life

Likes

I liked the uniform System so that everyone is on same line.
My campus life was very good and I had good interaction qith everyone
The faculty was highly educated and was good in teaching.

Dislikes

Placement services were good,average package of 4 lacs.
The quality of infrastructure was pleasent and learning faculties were wonderful.
The course curriculam was manageable and was on uniform mode.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pacific aspects about the curriculum that influence my decision to choose this course was that it provided a very large amount of problem solving skills so that I can work in pressure like private jobs which provide a corporate level and it also improved my course curriculum so that I can talk and present myself to the world the frequency and timing of exam along with prospective were very much on difficult level

Infratructure and opportunities to explore, patents and papers can be published in ease.
Supportive teachers, they resolves every small query.
Discipline, they took practices like uniform system and different guards checkpoints for maintaining it.

Dislikes

Nothing much, but academic plans could be improved.
There should be more labs compared to student strength.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester, student is opened to placement opportunities. Some names of companies visited this year are microsoft, infosys, tata communication services, mahindra tech, jp morgan etc. Offers were for internships varied from 45k to 1.2 lac per month. About 80-90% students get placed in campus. My plan after degree is to do a job in a good tech company and sustain in life.

The discipline is what I liked there is perticular decorum that is to be maintained and guards to check it
The placement opportunities are very good
The competition is nice and very good to be there

Dislikes

The uniform it's like school and we have to wear it with jeans particularly blue and black
The teaching quality is not that great some teachers are very good but some just disappointed
The canteen area is good but sometimes the food is not good quality and mess food is also not that Great sometimes

Placement Experience:

the placements of my college is very good cause they bring out good companies for every course not just cse the internship oppurtunities are aslo very nice and they have tie ups with quite a lot companies so the placements are very good

Likes

Faculty js good they know their subjects good
Campus is good with good infrastructure and good facilit
The food is good with good hostel and good services

Dislikes

Class size is little bigger than usual would have been better if was small
Everyone can get admission in college easily ,very easy criteria for admission

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
