The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

It was great about telling our university.

Likes

Chitkara University boasts a solid placement track record, with top companies like infosys, Amazon etc. offering average salaries of 4.5 LPA.
The labs And Classes are well equipped and building are well maintained.
there are a lot of activities like cultural event, clubs that keep student feel fun in campus.

Dislikes

the tuition fees is to high , which might be difficult for some student to afford.
The ratio of boy and girls are very unbalanced (around 5:1 ratio).
The university has a strict attendance policy which means students must attend a 75% of classes to give exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is good . It combimes theorys with praciticals projects and internships. There are rooms for students to improve their soft skills. Exams are not soo difficult, student mange to pass the exams.

College provides enjoyable campus life with various clubs , events and fests
Campus facilities including sports materials , square one - the hotel like canteen
Ac classrooms and library and best trainers for crack placements

Dislikes

Curriculum as some parts of syllabus are not related to current industry trends
Lack of extra curricular activities and sports infrastructure
Administrative work is very slow and sometimes deans not help in attendance related issues

From 6th sem students actual placements critieria started . Elitmus etc. type of exams started but intership in big companies like microsoft , google come in 5 th sem. But they choose only 1 person . Many companies visited in this university with average package of 7-8 lakhs . Mostly 80% students get placed. Highest package till is 45 lakhs . If i get placed then ok going with them but if not places then i will go abroad

The College has well maintained infrastructure facilities like a well-maintained library, air conditioned class rooms and high-speed Wi-Fi.
The college has all types of infrastructure for sports.
The teachers are well-qualified as per university and student requirements

Dislikes

The ateendance police is a burden on students.
Most of the sites doesn't work with the college wifi.
The exam pattern is kind of hectic and confusing.

Placement Experience:

The placement are very good and the average package exceeds 10lpa. They provide 100% scholarship to their students. The companies like Amazon,Wipro, Microsoft, Infosys HCL, TCS and other MNCs visit this campus for recruitment. The top roles offered for our course are SDE, QA/TIET, Frontend engineer/developer, full stack etc

About my college

Likes

Its an affordable college compared to others
Services are good and ai students gets benefits of what they paid
And also here girls to boys ratio is good and also placements is decent

Dislikes

Very often exams every week their is evalvuation or any viva
Campus size is a little small but they are expanding it
Hostel fees is little high as compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are elgible for internship and placements some companies are like infosys tcs microsoft and many more average package is 8 lakh per qnnum and no idea of highest package its around 50 percent students gets placed

Review of Chitkara University from my three year experience

Likes

I like the infrastructure and staff and the fest that happen every year.
If we talk about food you need to visit Square 1 and Square 2 , I like the food so much . n every year.
Next thing is that if you are a book lover you need to visit the library , I really like the environment.

Dislikes

I dislike the transportation department because the don't give students bus pass for government buses.
In Chitkara there is no fixed schedule and sometimes they even call on Saturday with a one day notice .
Food is good but is expensive , my personal review is that the prices should be reduced .

Placement Experience:

they are ok , according to them the placements are good but i am still not placed so i will not say more on the topic but as i have talked to my seniors they say you need good CGPA and some soft skills to get placed or to crack an good internship , the average package is Rs.6,00,000/- and my plans is to have a good job within 4th year.

Well as far as i have listened placements are ok as I have talk to my seniors they say you need to have good CGPA in every semester and have some skills that make you unique, and if you can conquer both these parts your chances if getting places increases very much , average package is Rs.4,00,000/- to Rs.6,00,000/- .

Lovely atmosphere, friendly people, nice campus
Great faculty with one to one attention, so many events for enhancement of your skills
Transport facilities are good nice campus and easy to reach every one

Dislikes

Little over crowded and lot of unwanted things to be done
Timings and strictness for the things alot
Time consuming for reaching there so that's it

Placement Experience:

From the 7 semester most probably students gets started placing. There are lot of great companies comes and visits the campus for placements like tech Mahindra,Amazon and TCS and lot of more mncs come

Likes

The campus is well designed and beautiful.
The campus is well managed and well planned
The architecture of campus is very good .

Dislikes

The campus is not so big it contain only basic amenities
The campus is over crowded they don't have space even
The mess food is not good it's awful .

Placement Experience:

As of now I don't know much about the placement scene but according to the seniors it's decent as this year's batch as I have listened that out of two thousand students twelve hundred have been placed.

Placement Experience:

Placements begin in the 6th semester. Companies like Amazon , Infosys , and Deloitte visit, offering roles in Software and AI. The highest package is Rs. 40 LPA , average is rs. 6-7 LPA with 90% placement rate. After my degree, I plan to pursue a role in AI development.

Reality of Chitkara University

Likes

There is a very very huge variety of food shops and u can find literally anything to eat inside the campus and its not soo expensive

Dislikes

There are uniforms in college and if u don’t wear one there is a fine pf Rs 50 and after taking fine they also don’t give attendance in class.
U cannot leave the campus before 3:30pm and college gets over at 4 pm and if u want to leave the campus u have to talk to mentor write an application get it signed by mentor with a stamp at dean offices and the mentor also talk to your parents
The campus is very much crouded as compared to size of the college

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for internship had placements. The companies which generally comes for placements are google, wipro, deloitte, Microsoft, HCL, TCS, LnT, Cisco, Infosys etc are some of the highest recruters in chitkara university. The average pakage is 5-6 lakh per annum and the highest package is around 1cr LPA . The campus usually tells us to keep the CGPA more than 7, I will go to foreign country after my degree

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
