A life of a nursing student staying in a hostel

It's a friendly environment were u get to learn from various faculty from nursing tutors to phd faculty spoken English is the medium of instruction and teaching as well as tamil sometimes to help students who don't understand
You are not been stressed like other colleges every year cultural and sports day is celebrated and other programs too like onam pongal and Christmas celebration
Their is no ragging in our college and placement we can get in big hospital like MGM some of our senior are working their

Dislikes

Food is the hostel is ok not bad it's not fully tamil nadu food
It's far from main Chennai City 60km so if your around Chennai it's best to stay either in hostel or rented flats near by many students option to stay in flats
The hospital exposure is not good infrastructure but you will get to expose in practical clinical posting in other government hospital as well as MGM hospital,cancer institutions

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum are arranged properly but the timing is just 6 months so students really need to work hard to finish everything including practical and other things like seminar, practice teaching Teaching style is lecture teaching You get only one week to prepare for your exams Library are really helpful

Pros and cons of joining MGMCRI, Pondicherry

Likes

Faculty is good and hospital has the required facilities but needs a lot of improvement
Patient inflow is too less and there is language problem for people from north

Dislikes

There are no events organised by college even if it is done the college hesitates to provide money and the whole things is justterrible
There is no proper sports facilities and inter college events are cancelled most of the times

I wanted to be a doctor thats why i joined this course. The curriculum of the college is well planned bug the end results comes only by your personal hard work and your inquisitiveness to learn and ask questions

I appreciate the greenery and peaceful atmosphere of the campus I hope they also maintain the auditorium other than that all things here are perfect and clean and neat I also admire the cleanliness of the campus and how good the library syudy hall is
Campus life is very peaceful here and really nice there are really good people from all around India here and the seniors are really helpful if u are a person ready to socialize u can easily make friends here and enjoy yours collage life
The placement here is based on neet pg mbbs courses do not provide any placement you need to write neet pg and get addmison for pg mbbs is a long course so u also have to be prepared to commit to this course and collage

Dislikes

I wish they maintained the football ground a bit more other than that the collage grounds are perfect
The auditorium need to be used more here then it will be also really good for students

The curriculum we follow is by nmc it is followed by all of the medical collages in India it is always being improved and making changed according to the needs of the students and being more clinical and practical oriented for the future doctors

The wonders of SSSMCRI

Likes

The infrastructure is very good and the lab for each subject is very big and well equipped
This college shows massive importance to sports and physical fitness hence here all sports are supported and respective courts are also present
There are museums for each block of the hospital which have all the most important information in medical history and this college is huge filled with greenery

Dislikes

The toilets are a bit less maintained but not that bad
The AC stops abruptly but not very often

This course teachers you to save lives, make you feel satisfied looking and other's happiness, make you feel great full for your life and the struggles the child's parents had to go threw to make him or her the person they are today. This course will be the best life lesson for any child

Perfectly splendid university

Likes

The environment was very peaceful in our college its cannot be denied
The patient exposure in our college is far better than any other college's in pondicherry
We got well good professors with minimum of 20 years experience in each nd every subject

Dislikes

Actually nothing like that the usal complainte about the fees
The water dispenser could be more better than now its little bit dirty can lead to infections
The canteen facilities for the dayshcolar students is not that good

Specifically, the infrastructure i got tremendously influenced by it and the clinical experience we go through in our college is surreal u can survive with all rural areas you can able to handle every cases The exams frequency is about 2 months once University exam one year once Question papers are very standard

My collage experience

Likes

Campus is awesome like environment friendly, evening walks feels soo good
Infrastructure of our college, well maintained AC classroom
Faculty is best here, we have students friendly faculty

Dislikes

Mess food is sometimes not good, so we had to eat outside most of times
We will face flood like situation on roads during raining season
Laundry facilities might seems useless once u reach internship

Course Curriculum Overview:

CBME Curriculum was really good as far as I feel because it gave us more clinical exposure than our previous batches and it also helped us to co relate and study. Our college also improves on out feedback regarding teaching methods.

Mahatma Gandhi medical college

Overall ambience of the campus is really good and pleasant
The Library here is great with good ambience and lot of books to explore
Each and every student has a mentor to approach if needed

Dislikes

The Parking area is very congested which is a major drawback
Road facilities and drainage facilities are horrible during rainy days
Hostel food is average irrespective of giving lot of feedbacks

I love the CBMU curriculum. The practical sessions are areally helpful for us in preparing ourselves in real world academic pursuits. Each internal assessment will be conducted once in 3 month. And the university exam will be conducted at the end of the year
