Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University (SBV) is one of South India’s premier healthcare academic and research institutions. The university offers Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing Courses to their respective candidates. The university has been approved by UGC in 1956.

SBV MBBS and BDS Admission 2023
Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University (SBV) offers two medical programmes, that are Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) to their respective students. The university provides only one specialization in both of the programmes MBBS and BDS. Duration period of MBBS is 5.5 years while BDS takes 6 years to be completed.
Candidates interested in MBBS and BDS need to appear for NEET UG entrance test conducted by CBSE. Application for NEET UG can be made on its official website.
- Age limit should be minimum 17 years for both of the programmes mentioned above .

SBV Nursing Admission 2023
In addition, the university provides Nursing course with two specializations like B.Sc nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing programmes. The B.Sc nursing takes four years to complete whereas Post Basic B.Sc programme has 2 years of duration period.
The total intake of the university is 100 seats for B.Sc Nursing and 40 seats for Post Basic Nursing.
For admission in the Nursing course provided by the university, candidates have to appear in SVB BUDGET exam. According the scores obtained in the exam the selection of the candidates will be made.

SBV MD, MS and MDS Admission 2023
Besides the others, the SBV also provides a few more medical programmes at the PG level. It offers Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS). The university provides 25 specializations in MD programme. The MS has nine different specializations in its offerings and MS offers specializations in eight different subjects.The duration of all of the programmes is 2 years.
Candidates interested in MD and MS need to appear NEET PG entrance test conducted by National Board of Examination (NBE) following the norm of Supreme court. The candidates interested in MDS need to attend an entrance test called SBV CET PGMC.

SBV PG and PG Diploma Admissions 2023
SBV University provides two Master degree and one diploma courses at the Postgraduate level. The courses are Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Science in Nursing [M.Sc (Nursing)] and Postgraduate Diploma (PG Diploma) to their respective candidates.
For M.Sc, the university offers specializations in eight different subjects. Candidates have an option to choose from five different specializations in the M.Sc Nursing programme offered by SBV. The PG diploma programme is offered with three different specializations.
Duration of M.Sc and M.Sc Nursing is 2 years whereas PG Diploma takes 1 year to be completed.
The selection for all of the PG Programmes mentioned above will be made by the university as per the marks obtained in the previous courses.

The university provides three research-based programmes - Doctor of Medicine (DM), Master of Surgery (Latin: Magister Chirurgiae) (M.Ch) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).
SBV provides only one specialization for DM programme, three specializations for M.Ch programme and nine different kind of specializations for the candidates of Ph.D programme.
