NLUO is on a rise

Likes

There's no ragging in the college and seniors are so helpful.
The security is too tight and nobody can dare to be physical with anyone as rules are very strict here.

Dislikes

Too rigorous as studies here are never ending and therefore taking time out for extra curricular activities is just not possible here.

Placement Experience:

As we enter out second last semester, the college gives us a list of the companies that stars coming. We can apply as long as we are not placed. Once placed though, we don't have an option to switch but various PPOs and top law firms are recruiters here. Average salary offered is 12 lakhs with highest going as far as 30 lakhs a year.

The campus life is quite lively. The college doesn't sleep.
Placement statistics are impressive. Every year there is an increase in students placd

Dislikes

The administration is not so student supportive.
A little burden of studies as there is only exam which is end sem exam per semester

After every semester you get a 2 months off for an internship. The college also has a very active internship cell that provides internship opportunities. The internships are generally without stipend and with 10k at max. The internship role is legal research or drafting along with court visits.

LIFE AT NLUO BACK AT 2012

Likes

The location of the college, being in between two rivers and amidst nature
The people and the diverse crowds and the opportunity to connect with different people

Dislikes

the construction was slow which barred from availing the facilities for which we paid
the administration is slow to respond

Placement Experience:

Law colleges as such don't [provide placements in a holistic way like B-schools or engineering schools. Although there exist tie-ups with top tier firms especially when it is an NLU, and other banks and companies. Considering litigation exists many students don't opt for placements.

National Law University Odisha (NLUO) Review

Placement Experience:

The college has good placement options and the college also provides very good corporate opportunities but most of the batchmates preferred to opt for personal practice. Singh & Associates, Exigent Group LLP, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Fox Mondal, MNSA Legal are the names of that were the major recruiters of the college. The highest salary offer was around 10 LPa dn the average salary offer was around 5 LPA.

Placements for our senior batch are good. They got hired in top law firms. There is a placement committee in the university which is a student body and supervised by a faculty adviser. The committee plays a key role in acquiring placements.

At NLUO Odisha, situations are taken care of by RCC (Recruitment Coordination Committee). The understudies have taken an interest in the grounds placements.any organizations come and select the understudies particularly law offices like JSB, sridharan, dentons Dubai and so forth. The understudies get the bundles as high as 6 lakhs for every year and much more.

Indeed. This college gives openings for work and position to it up and coming legal advisors who are really taking shape. There has been a wonderful notification on the past openings for work that the seniors got. In particular, an arrangement official is selected to work with the RCC and two workforce are there to guarantee the smooth running of the RCC and I trust that our clump mates gets similar chances

DECENT COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

Yes. The university offers jobs and positions to its upcoming lawyers. It received notable notice of previous employment opportunities for adults. More importantly, we are hiring a placement officer to work with the RCC, and I hope that our two batch mates will have the same opportunities to ensure that the RCC runs smoothly.
