Life at NLUO

Hostel Facilities:

There are two hostels each, for boys and girls respectively. In every hostel there is one common mess for students that provides with decent food. Double occupancy for first years and single occupancy from 2nd year onwards. Hostel fee is 30000 and per semester fees of mess committee is around 19000.

THE LIFE AT NLUO

There is separate boys and girls hostel. Infact two hostels for each. The quality of the food provided by the mess is also decent. Considering it charges just 30,000 for hostel and 40,000 for mess, it is actually not a bad deal.

Life in NLUO

Student Snaps:

In hostel single accommodation is also there and double accommodation is also, so when you are in first year mainly you will get double accommodation rooms and when you will go into second year you will get single rooms. Chair, Table, Almirah, Wall book rack you will get in room. Mess food is okay, you will get 4 time meals, menu was different every day.

NLUO is on a rise

Hostels are mandatory at NLUs and therefore I had to choose the hostel. In a room of 8/10 there are 2 girls acoxmdoated in each room. No single ton facility as we have to stay in double or triple occupancy room. The message is close to the hostel and for boys and girls the mess is common.

Hostel cost around 30000 for single occupancy and 360000 as message charge, there would be 10k deposit for mess. Mess food is good as it is student run organization and the menu changes every month. There is regular service if Zomato and swiggy so there wont be issue in food and accommodation

There is no as such curfew timings in hostel.

Dislikes

The mess food is quite bad. It's just edible.

The college has in campus hostel facilities. There are 2 hostels for boys and 2 for girls with one under construction hostel for girls. The hostel rooms provided with one bed one study table and chair along with one almirah and one book shelf. The Hostels are in enough quantity to be provided to everyone who avails it. In the first year there is double occupancy rooms and from the second year one get single rooms. The mess food is quite decent (it's edible).

LIFE AT NLUO BACK AT 2012

The students are provided with single-occupancy rooms. Considering the fees charged the facilities in hostels are decent although they could be better. The food menu although doesn't lack variety needs improvement in terms of hygiene and quality. However, this is a review till 2017, the same might be different at the moment. Taking hostel accommodation is compulsory.

National Law University Odisha (NLUO) Review

The hostel infrastructure is very nicely maintained. The rooms are fully furnished and rooms are available as single accommodation. The hostel has several facilities like a separate reading area, a common room with LCD TV and cable connectivity, a movie screening facility, indoor games facility, 24 hours of medical and WiFi facility. RO on every floor is available for drinking water and the hostel hygiene is properly maintained.

Best law college!

The hostel has separate block around the campus which is guarded 24*7 by the security guards. The rooms are equipped with a bed, cupboard and a study table, there are separate buildings for boys and girls. Each floor has a warden in charge. The washrooms are clean and tidy. The food is provided in the mess and it? healthy and hygienic. Overall the environment of the hostel is safe and secure.

Review of NLUO

Our hostel provides basic facilities like a bed and a study table. We have to bring in our mosquito nets and get them fixed for the windows, Both boys and girls have a single room occupancy in the hostels. Our mess looks good and the food is above average quality just like any other hostel. There is no registration process per se for the hostel and accommodation in the university. Everyone who gets admission to the university is given accommodation in the hostel and a separate room is allocated to all of us individually.
