I had paid 50000 per year for tuition fees, 10000 caution money for the first year only, and a yearly development and placement fee of 10000. There was an OBC/SC/ST scholarship for residents of MP students as well.

The fees for open student is approximately 46000 per sem and they do not have any scholarship. Also the hostel fees for single share accommodation is 50000 per sem. The academic fees includes gym facilities, swimming pool, sport complex and library also.

All About M.tevh at VNIT

Course fees is nominal same as of different NITs, it's 41000 per semester. Hostel and mess fees hi soo high about 50000 per semester. Hostel rooms are seperate single stay and common washroom. One can go to stay outside also.

In masters we don't get any type of scholarships but those students who are admitted through GATE are provided stipend of 12400/- per month. Total course duration is 2 years which cost 4,00,000/- in total.

A HONEST REVIEW FROM A VNITIAN

The fee structure is for every semester which lasts for 5 to 6 months, In first semester of MTech i have paid an amount of 53k for tution fee and 52k for hostel which too high for the hostel whih is very old and the facilities are also below the my expectation level, in 2nd semester i have piad 41k tuition fee and 48k hostel fee and we get hostel refund of atleast 15k for the 1st year, in 3rd sem i have paid 42k tution fee and 41k hostel fee where it reduced nearly 10k,in the 4th sem i have to pay 39k of hostel fee and 42k of tution fee.

VNIT - A review

Tuition fee is not very much high as compared to other NITs. The cost of education is balanced with respect to the other charges. Scholarships are provided for B.tech students according to their caste category. There are various clubs that you can join and monthly stipend is awarded for MTech students for being punctual and not missing classes.
