Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have Physics at B.Sc./Bachelor degree Level in all the three years with any other combination OR B.Sc.Honors / B.S. in Physics+ Mathematics at 10+2 level is essential.

Admission Guidelines

The admissions will be through Centralized Counseling for M.Sc. Admissions (CCMN) based on the IIT-JAM score.

Course Details

No Tuition Fees are charged from SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. In addition to the fees, Convocation fees of Rs 750/- and Thesis/Dissertation evaluation fees Rs 1,500/- to M Sc shall be charged in final semester of the program

VNIT is a good college if you want to gain knowledge in the respective field.

Likes

Its library, it provides a good environment for study.
Its campus, its a quite green campus and you will love to have a beautiful morning and evening walks.

Dislikes

Its portal, it is quite outdated and there are various problems in the system.
The locality is quite expensive. Even for small small things you have to pay extra.

Fees and Financial Aid:

For 1st Sem you have to pay Rs 25000 is you are general category which includes one time fees, admission fees and your semester fees. For 2nd Sem fees is Rs 11,350. 3rd and 4th Sem fees is Rs 13500. However fees may change for particular year as per the guidelines. Various Scholarship are provided for economically weak students also there are scholarship for reserved students (SC, ST, etc). For general category there are no scholarship at all. Further you can check for Inspire scholarship if your 12th percentage is well in your respective boards.
