Fees and Financial Aid:

Tuition fees is around 66000 and hostel fees is currently 33000 earlier it was 40000 there is slight decrease . You will get a refund after each year from the hostel fees . Some hostels are good some are in bad condition.

according to my knowledge for chemical engineering student anual fee is 125000 rupee there are lots of scholarship but i fall in general category so there is no fee remission provided to me ,in this fee remission complete fee is to be refunded to the student

VNIT NAGPUR REALITY VS EXPECTATIONS

For SC/ST there isn't any tution fees they just have to pay academic fees and one time fee of 15,000 at the time of admission , and after that just SC/ST students have to pay 5,500 per semester and 11,000 per year which is academic fees which includes caution fees , lab fees , etc. OBC has the tution fees it doesn't has any difference with GEN , for GEN tution fees is around 65,000 per sem and academic fees is around 15,000.

In start one time deposit is made of 15500 This contains library deposit of 5000 Caution deposit of 5000, Identity Card 200, Medical Exam 100, Welfare Fund 1200, Medical aid fund 4000. Fees Paid every year by general category student is 133700 125000 is tution fess (SC/ST/PWD students are exempted from tution fees. They only need to pay 5225 rupees academic fees. This fees increases every year. By 20% approx.) Registration Fees- 500 Sports fees- 750 T&P- 400 Student Activity Fees- 1250 Development Fees- 3000 End Semester Examination Fees- 1000 Industry Institute Interaction Fees- 300 Library Fees- 750 Internet and Computer Maintainance Fees- 750 Fees need to be paid semester wise- 66850 OBC AND EWS STUDENT GET SOME FEES WAIVED IN TUTION BUT NOT FULLY. Fees remission facility is also provided in which 133700 fees paid to institute get refund every year. This facility is for most category whatever amount they pay get refunded full.
