View of Walchand Institute of Technology as a Witian

Likes

Infrastructure is very good as they have well maintained classrooms and laboratory.
Campus is spread over a very large area.

Dislikes

They only focus on academics not on fest.
Improper management at times of events or anything else.

Placement Experience:

Walchand Institute of Technology has a placement cell. Many different companies visit our campus for recruitment. Companies are Wipro, Tcs, Infosys etc. It helps students to acquire jobs in their desired companies.

How is Wit solapur ?

Likes

The thing that I liked most about wit is that the teachers are very good .Even being a teacher in Maharashtra they teach only in English and Hindi . I am from jammu and don't know Marathi but they explained each and every topic in English and Hindi.
The infrastructure is average ,it is 40 years old college so we can't expect more from infrastructure.
The placement is pretty good.Around 70-80 % students get placed.

Dislikes

You have to do internship by yourself, because no company arive here for internship.

After completing the 6th semester students can apply for campus placements. The placement is average or I may say good although the highest package is not that good it is around 13 lpa. The average package is 3.75 lpa. Around 70 9f students get placed.

Things we liked the canteen facility, sports facilities ,campus is greenery , labs n annual festivals…good education system n faculty members are appointed, good parking facilities available , good canteen food, classroom representatives are there

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had a flare toward software and computers, So I selected this course. The faculty-student ratio is 6:40. The faculties are Ph.D. and well-qualified teachers. Semester-wise exams were conducted every 6 months and had practicals. It was not difficult to pass the exams, cr was made for every class.

Teaching of faculty is very good which helps to learn skills very easily.
placement support of college which provides placement to maximum number of students every year
events arranged by college are very interesting and likely to be occur every year

Dislikes

The college is about 8 km away from centre of city.
The college is very strict about the attendance
The bus facility of college is not that good

Placement Experience:

Placement provided by the college is top among the Solapur city. The average package is 5 Lpa and the basic package starts from 2.25 Lpa, the highest package is 12.5 Lpa. Different companies visit colleges every year to select students for jobs, the companies are namely TCS, tiaa, zensar technologies, etc. Around 80% of Computer Science and Engineering branch students get placed every year.

Likes

disciple in campus was strict things were follewed seriously
infrastucture was good like workshops and labs was equipped with all equipments
there were limited courses available in collage related to engineering only not of others fields

Dislikes

placements departments didn't worked well to arrange more company for placement
campus is old with less technolgy equipped
faculty are not frank with students only few faculty take care of students

Placement Experience:

after 6 semesters students were offered campus placements. mass recruiters like infosys tcs tech Mahindra came to campus but campus placements were low I would say the highest package on campus was 7lpa on average the package was 3.5lpa. percentage of students getting placed was only 40%. after degree plan was for further studies.

WIT- Never forgettable Journey

Likes

I liked the concept of digital library, where softcopies of books are provided along with the labs.
Also the games like football, volleyball, cricket, basketball.
Coding events, art exhibition, placement activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like computer programming and there are a lot of career opportunities there. The faculty-student ratio is amazing and very interactive. They provide awesome guidance. It is not that much difficult to pass but yes, we have to study.

Placement is above average than any other college almost 70-80% get placed. An average package is 5 lpa you get ek for placement from 6 sem of college companies like Cummins, BYJUS, persistent, tech Mahindra, etc. come every year.

Overall it is Great, the college give us more opportunities and benefits.
Good in practical works which students able to learn themselves and make them creativity.
It also make place in top colleges of India.

My opinion i can say they do force for preparation and attend all lectures

Placement Experience:

The placement preparation arrangement will provide by the college, they start early preparation to students get more clear about it and the companies for placement offers starts from VIth semester itself.

Internship opportunities in college

Likes

Senior friendly nature is main point in our college.
Ragging is strictly prohibited in college campus.
Hostel is very at all dimensions you thought.

Dislikes

College rules are very strictly which is not of any use.
Teachers are not teaching very good and practical also.
Main point in college campus,Girls and boys cannot talk to each other.If they talk,then strictly action is took on them.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students are eligible to attend campus placement drives. Startup companies visited mostly our college campus and also business development companies. Rarely MNC will visit in 2023 TCS will come off-campus. Hexaware, Tech- Mahindra, Parent Pay, etc visited on campus. The average package is 3.6 LPA and the highest package is 7.5 LPA in technical. 17-20% of students get placements.
