Faculty is very good who provides you best and better knowledge
Bvdu offers multiple choice of companies to its students as bvdu is one of the best university and provide the best placements to big tech companies like college dunia hcl, del, mahindra and mahindra upgrade, and many more.
Tution fee increased by 5% every year it costs almost about 28-30 lakhs for entire degre some scholarship for ews is available a very good internship programme is available which doesn't have any stipends but experience gained is worth it.

Dislikes

Other than fest ,clubs,sports there is no extra curricular we can do.
They don?? conduct extracurricular activities weekly
The overall cost of education is high. Strict regulations for attendance.

Dislikes

The education system is also reason through it .I think as for me I need for practical knowledge then exams and my college take 3 times exam in 1 sem ..
Being part of a well-known institution often comes with intense competition among students, which can be overwhelming for some individuals who struggle to maintain a balance between academics and extracurricular activities

Overall college placement is good and also give 85 percent people intership.. The college has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell that organizes campus drives, grooming sessions, and internships for students. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, and Accenture regularly visit the campus. Some students also secure offers from startups and mid-tier companies. The average package typically ranges between ?4-6 LPA, with higher packages going up to ?10-12 LPA or more for exceptional students in software-related roles. For my course Computer Engineering, the placement rate is usually above 85%, depending on market trends and student performance.

My College experience

Likes

Almost all the Faculty is easily approachable and are very helpfull in nature.
Most of the faculty has a great teaching technique and easy to understand to all.
College Campus is Big and also many events are arranged within the campus.

Dislikes

College Campus is really big but not properly utilized some land is not used .
college being really big somtimes its difficult to find required classroom in one go.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester onwards students get eligible for placements and internships. Companies like Infoysis, Bharat Forge LTD, Polycab LTD , visit the college for campus placements. highest package: 12 LPA average package: 6 LPA my plans after degree are to pursue M.E and do a part time job for supporting myself.

BVIMR- Boon or bane

Likes

The faculty are very friendly and supportive but also strict in terms of discipline.
The classrooms are fully equipped with smart tv and Acs proper lighting is also available
Easily accessible by metro no need to take any vehicle to travel after metro

Dislikes

The canteen food could be improved and be better as there are only few shops
Information system could be better as information is provided last minute sometimes
The campus is quite small. There is only one ground for all the three buildings courses of bjmc, bba, llb bba llb

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible in sixth semester for placements. They do claim that they offer good placements to students but feel that totally depends on the credibility of the student. The highest package from bba was 8lakh per annum and average was around 4 lakhs. They call company like samsung, accenture, PnB banks etc. I am planning to pursue MBA after this degree.

I like the university infrastructure. It is well build and provide each and every facility.
The college have seperate department and library to work accordingly.
The college has its own canteen both seperate for patient and students or staff.

Dislikes

The college needs to improve the AC classroom during summer its very humid .
The college need to look after the extra curricular activities like out door games .
The ground here is need to be well maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching methods are innovative. It includes ppt , peer learning programmes , group discussion, quizzes which increase the interest to study at ease . The exams are regular there are 4 internal exam and one final exam.

Pharmacy college with good ranking and well qualified staff.

Likes

College environment is very pleasant and peoples are very helpful.
College have very good staff but you have to be attentive and maintain your attendance
College provide good communication and particiption in good amount of activities.

Dislikes

College campus is small as compared to other colleges.
Timing of library is very less and library is small as compared to students
College book bank books are not that much useful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college provide a wide exposure by creating different communities which are run by students,this includes ed cell,ispor cell,art club this committee provide exposure to students and enhance their ability to think and encourage the ideas of students. College provide industrial visits which helps to understand about industry Exams are mainly intervals of 1 or 1 half month exam are frequent and timing for unit test is 90 minutes for 30 marks For university exam 180 minutes for 75 marks theory exam Practical exams are easy and it feels like normal practical because of easy it is.

Clubs and societies in our college, which personally help me to gain knowledge
College is well connected to Market. Easy for us to do all other stuff
Smart board in our class, although we have old fashion style board

Dislikes

Priority is given to Maharashtri student not in terms of admission but in other accedmic activities.
Language barriers: most of time facilities communicate in Hindi and English but often use maharathi language which we totally don't get
Labs are not well mentain (labs of electronics department)

Placement Experience:

College claim to have 90% placement but really is completely different for this year only 60-70 students placed ( source: senior from train and placement cell). I Meet some of senior of 4th they claim that people usually get off campus placement that the advance of city Pune it city.

How is my college

Likes

They had a big auditorium for students like us to have a meetup
Big shots or you say big firms come for direct college recruitment
A balanced ratio of boys and girls which make college more fun attractive and makes comfortable for both gender to grow and open up

Dislikes

Break time was less As students need time for managing there other classes
Canteen was too good but too big so many people didnt go to classes

As bba course itself says bachelor in business administration It helps students to understand how business works and what all things one needs to do to run a successful business New teaching methods like advance screens with interactive sessions , group discussions and other techniques to help a person improve there confidence but adapt to the modern changes which are coming in front of any business They prepair people to work for big companies as per thier requirement So a person after a bba degree is ready for both job or business

My Horrible experience at IMED

Nothing in this college is good. The only thing i like is lush green environment.

Dislikes

The staff is very cunning and don't help at all
The way of teaching is pathetic and the computer lab lectures are a big waste of time because none of the faculty sees what the students are doing they are just sitting on their mobiles.
Placement for MCA is pathetic. While doing admission they told us that they have 14 lpa package and average package is 8 lpa. But only few companies came to the clg and that too after registration they did not respond.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very outdated. Some of the topics are up to date. They don't give us any real world project. They don't even have good external faculty that come and teach us the electives. Overall experience is very bad

Our college is the best

Likes

I appreciated that the classrooms is clean
The campus is clean and green and it's feel safe
The teachers are genuinely nice and good and i really appreciated that

Dislikes

The crowd of campus is like bad some is good and some is bad
The washrooms must be cleaned properly so smell dont come for washroom
The outside of college crowd is cheap so we have to keep us safe

After completing the bcom course i will be giving the bank exams because i want to be a bank manager abd work in a bank so in future i don't need to stress much about carrier so that why i chose bcom in our college there are placements but i didn't know much about the placement and all but there are placement and we have our university

I have a friend who completed his engineering program from BVDU, Pune back in 2018. Here is a brief overview of the college based on his experience at the institute.

Campus- The campus is beautiful. Before it became deemed to be a university it used to be among the best colleges under PU.
College life- Academic-wise, the practical portion is generally neglected. BVDU follows the PU submission pattern, so you'll be compelled to finish your assignments before the deadline.
Crowd- My friend mentioned that due to the crowd, BVDU always stood superior to the IITs in Pune because here you would come across people who belong to diverse backgrounds and mindsets. This diversification shapes your personality.
Faculty- It is pretty average. But for someone who carries a thirst to learn, they would not be disappointed. The HOD and professors are no doubt excellent. But the biggest drawback is that they don’t put in 100% effort.
Placements- In case you're someone with excellent coding skills, the companies that show up may give you a chance, Students from ECE, IT, CS has decent placement record. You can try to work on your communication skills, build your LinkedIn network and contribute your work in the final year. The average salary received by students was 7 LPA while the highest package was 54 LPA.

All in all, it may not be the best college in Pune, but you'd come across several people from different backgrounds and the faculty quality is also good. You can definitely consider it as an option.
