NLIU Bhopal is best!!

Likes

It is arguably the best law college of Lucknow.
Where some NLUs are losing its sheen, NLIU Bhopal has rose to the occasion and have met the expectations of law aspirants.
Also many students from other NLUs take transfers here as soon as vacancy comes.

Dislikes

Like other NLUs the crowd here is not that diverse.

Admission:

I was rejected or rather not selected by top National Law Universities like NALSAR, NLSIU or NLU Jodhpur as it all depends on your CLAT score. With a rank of 8000, I could only be qualified for lower ranked NLUs. Thus, I am at NLIU which is also an NLU after all.

NLIU Bhopal is nestled well for student!!

Likes

From student engagement to placement opportunities both are taken care of really well at NLUI Bhopal.
Infrastructure again is superb as it has a class apart facilities.
Some students are at par with students of top NLUs like NUJs, NLSIU and GNLU.

Dislikes

50% students are taken from reserved category who are undeserving.

Admission:

I wanted to go to NALSAR as it was my dream college but sadly i couldn't go there as my CLAT rank was 1350 and NALSAR take top 100 students if you are from general category. So, with my score and rank the best NLU that I saw was NLIU Bhopal.

NLIU is next level college!!

Likes

Beautiful campus and probably one of the only NLUs which is situated in the heart of the city.
We have one of the biggest libraries as almost 60% of the college students can be seated in the library at once.
Placement statistics of our college are getting better by the day.

Dislikes

College admin is definitely little laid back as our issues are never addressed on time.

So, I got a rank of 1600 All India and NLU Bhopal was where I got admission aa it was my home state or else I was getting admissions at NLUO and MNLU Mumbai too. Opportunities at NLIU

Likes

The university’s atmosphere for academics is really good. People are passionate towards their work and all the facilities to shape the requisite skills.
The focus on co-curricular and extra curricular is also really admirable.
The faculty is really experienced and admirable. Very supportive and encouraging.

Dislikes

It’s location as it is really far from the city but fortunately the university provides bus series for the students on alternate days which makes things easier.
The infrastructure and accommodation crisis.
The study modules provided has a lot of scope for improvement.

Admission:

To get into any National Law University for pursuing law one has to give the CLAT examination organised by the CLAT Consortium every year. It is one of the most difficult entrance exams right after you complete your high school. The usual eligible rank differs every year but a score of above 100 out of 150 will land you a good law school. The exam usually takes place in december which becomes an ideal time for those who want to give the exam in their 12th std itself as they don't have their boards and can later focus on their boards in the remaining three months.

National Law Institute University: Still Worth it in 2024?

The Campus. It is a lush green, beautiful campus situated outside the main city of Bhopal.
Campus Library. The library is very good and is one of the main attractions of the Campus when visiting.
College Culture. Since it's a National Law University, it has a rich culture of how law students work.

Dislikes

Currently the first and second years had to opt for a triple sharing room. This was a bit problematic.
Since the University is outside of the main city and in a forest area, Night time food deliveries are mostly unavailable.

Admission:

The admission is available only through the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). The college is alloted between 300 to 500 All India General Ranks, and between 500 to 900 to MP Domicile candidates. For B.Sc., it goes to 500 to 900 for AIR general and 1000 to 2000 for MP Domicile General.

Admission:

The eligibility criteria for the course is the 12th pass from any of the streams. After that student has to appear for the Common Law Admission Test that is CLAT. Through CLAT we can get admission in any of the 22 National Law Universities and some private colleges also take admission on the basis of your clat rank like NIRMA, KPM and Jagran Lake City University, Bhopal and many more colleges. CLAT is conducted by the Consortium Of NLUs. it is conducted once a year. If you want to take admission in the tier-1 NLU then you have to be under 500 AIR. some NLUs also provide vertical and horizontal reservations like caste and reservation on the basis of domicile.
