Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 4 years Full-time B.E Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

A candidate seeking admission in these courses must have passed the 12th examination of the 10+2 system from a recognized board with Physics & Mathematics as main subjects along with either Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical subject as the third subject. The candidate must have a combined aggregate minimum of 45% marks in these subjects. There is a relaxation of 5% marks in the above requirement in the case of SC, ST, and OBC (excluding Creamy Layer) category candidates of Madhya Pradesh .

Entrance Exam:

Candidates must qualify AIEEE entrance test.

Eligibility

Candidates with valid JEE Mains score card are eligible for BE and Dual Degree programs at RGPV. They must have completed 10+2 level with Mathematics and Physics subjects with a minimum score of 45% (40% for the reserved category)

Candidates with valid NATA/ JEE Mains paper 2 score are eligible for the B.Arch program. They must have scored 50% marks in 10+2/ 10+3 level. Diploma candidates must have had Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Whereas the students who have completed HSC/ 10+2 level of education, must have had Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as the compulsory subjects.

Selection Criteria

Selection for the BE & B.Arch program will be done on the basis of JEE Main scores and NATA/ JEE Main paper 2. Candidates will have to register for the counselling at the official website of DTE Madhya Pradesh.
Candidates will have to enter the personal, academic and other relevant details, upload the necessary scanned documents required for the entire counselling procedure.
If the documents could not be uploaded, candidates will be intimated with reporting to the nodal centre regarding the verification of documents. They need to pay the counselling fee and after the verification.
Candidates will have to fill in the choices in the decreasing order of preference and lock them. Minimum 10 choices are to be filled which must include specializations from RGPV.
Once the options are locked by the candidate, they cannot change the options. Various rounds of counselling shall be conducted and allotment of seats will be done on the basis of test scores. Following table gives the idea of cut off of last year;

The Fees structure of college is very impressive, I mean providing such a quality education at a very affordable fee is appreciatable.

Dislikes

Expect 2-3 departments the academic section of other department is very lightly considered. No research opportunity, outdated curriculums, outdated labs.

I said that its a Govt. Engineering College so there is no hikes in tution fees and have a very relaxed tution fee policy. The Complete cost of my education including tution fees, service fee, and other compulsory charges will be around 150,000 for the complete duration of 4 years. There are many scholarship provided by govt. like MPTASS Scholarship for students belonging to ST/SC/OBC castes having economically poor background (Anunnal famil income<300,000) and Medhawai Chatra Yojan for students who scores above 75% in 12th standard from MP board, and 85% for student from CBSE background. There are very less campus employment opportunities, there are certain organizations like Ecell, Tnp, Phoenix etc which recruits potential candidates but its usually unpaid.
