NIT Bhopal hostels follow a strict code of conduct and have laid down some rules for the same.Boys are not allowed to visit Girls Hostels at any time and vice versa.Senior Batch students are not allowed to enter first year hostels at any time. They are not expected to call 1st year students in their rooms at any time.All the inmates of Girls Hostel and First Year Students must return to the hostel by 10.00 P.M. and are not allowed to leave the hostel before 6:00 A.MRagging, hazing, bullying, sexual harassment and sexual abuse of any kind are a very serious offense. Students involved in such callous behaviour might lead to total rustication.Smoking, Gambling and possession, distribution, and the consumption of alcoholic beverages and illicit drugs in the hostels are strictly prohibited.Students are allowed to practise their own religious beliefs only within their allotted hostel rooms, without causing any inconvenience to other hostel residents.Mandatory routine medical tests and psychographic profiling of students will be done by the medical staff and the counsellor, within a stipulated time.

With a 90 percentile in JEE Main, your chances of getting into NIT Bhopa are limited, but not impossible for less competitive branches, especially if you are from a reserved category or have a home-state quota. However, a 90 percentile might not be enough for top-tier branches like Computer Science or Electrical Engineering at NIT Bhopal. Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure changes every semester for new admissions, but for us, it was 14,578 Rs at the time of admission and it will remain the same for the coming semesters till you study in the institute. registration fees for every semester is 14,578 Rs but one-time admission fees were around 20,000 Rs. Only for SC-ST candidates, the fees are waived. for PhD candidates now the stipend has been increased to 48,720 Rs per month for PhD scholars who have completed 2 years, and those under 2 years, receive approx 41,000 Rs as a monthly stipend. College is perfect for BTech students due to the higher salaried job offers through campus placement. My student got placed in BPCL directly through a Personal Interview at campus placement.

Here is the detailed fee structure for B.Tech students (batch 2023-2024) at MANIT Bhopal-

Tuition fee-

Family income > 5 Lakhs (Gen, OBC, EWS)- Rs. 62,500 per semester.
Family income between 1 Lakh- 5 Lakhs (Gen, OBC, EWS)- Rs. 20,834 per semester.
SC, ST, PH (PwD) candidates- Rs. 0, irrespective of family income.
For Gen, OBC, EWS candidates with family income< 1 Lakh- Rs. 0?

One time fees (taken during admission)-

Institute Caution Money (Refundable)- Rs. 5,000.

Academic Fee (including Degree, Migration, Character, I Card)- Rs. 2,000.

Alumni Fee- Rs. 1000.

Student Training and Placement Fee- Rs. 3000.

Convocation Fee- Rs. 2000.

Other fees (payable each semester)-

Rs. 8000 per semester. This includes Poor Student Fund, Student Medical fund, Institute Development fund, Library fee, Student Activity fee, etc.

Hostel Fees-

Hostel Caution Money (one-time, refundable)- Rs. 5000.
