IIM Indore MBA Eligibility
- The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for Category Students)
- The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must include a minimum of 3 years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
- Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
- Such candidates must produce a certificate from the Principal/Head of the Department/Registrar/Director of the institution/University certifying that they are currently in the final year/ awaiting final results and have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent based on latest available grades/marks.
- Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally only if they submit a course completion certificate issued on or before June 30 of the admission year

The selection criteria for MBA program is mentioned in detail below:
Stage 1
The candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria and secure the minimum sectional and overall percentile required for admissions. The cutoff marks required varies for students of different categories. Only those candidates satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to go further in the second stage.
Stage 2
- Candidates satisfying the above mentioned requirements of Stage- I will be eligible for further shortlisting for the PI round.
- Further, a composite score will be prepared using 10th Scores, 12th Scores, CAT 2024 Overall Score and Diversity Factor (DF)

- The candidates are required to visit the official website of CAT and register.
- After successful CAT Registration, proceed to fill all the necessary details
- While applying for the B-schools and relevant courses, candidates must select IIM Indore and its MBA programme.
- Enter the OTP and submit the application form
- A message will be received containing the User ID and Password for subsequent login.
- The candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria will be called for further selection procedure.
- A PI round will be conducted to access the candidates for final selection.
- The candidates will be notified about the final selection through a merit list declared on the official website and regret letters will be issued to the other aspirants.

The Return on investement is really impressive and the fees structure is very well justified with the infrastructure and quality education provided. Cost of study is very high, but then so is the return on investment. It is on par with other institutes of its segment. Scholarships are present from the institute, state and central governments, but are somewhat hard to get as roughly only 10 to 15 stydents are selected for the same.

the fee structure is like around 20 lakhs without SEP (student exchange program) for the 2 years. frankly speaking, I don't know about all the scholarships till now as I am busy with lots of assignments and meetings by the seniors but yeah there is a need cum merit-based scholarships on campus. campus jobs are great like tons of companies visit and offering great roles with very good ctc. there is plenty of opportunities during the summer internship and final placement as well.

But you will easily get a loan from any bank for your education in top IIMs. Some non-institute scholarships are also there to help students but very few students get them. The placement committee ensures the placement of the entire batch during a summer internship and final placements. The average placement is around 25LPA.

Which course among PGP at IIM Indore and PGP-ABM at IIM Lucknow should one choose if he/she has an interest in Marketing and Operations?
The simple answer is that the choice of the course depends more or your overall profile than the course itself. Irresponsible of your specialization your chances at placements will be low if your resume is below average. Moreover, institutes like IIM Indore and IIM Lucknow offer joint placements for both programs.
Students can apply to any company irrespective of their specialization. Yet there are many who are able to get into their dream companies while some failed to get a call from a reputed firm. This is because the PGP program just added value to your resume and if that is already poor then even PGP cannot guarantee you a high-paying job.
So if you already have a good resume all you need to do is improve your resume in marketing and operations. This can be done through extra-curricular activities and B-school competitions. For this the PGP-ABM program is perfect.
But if you have a below-average resume, then go for PGP. Because then extracurricular activities alone will not improve your resume. You need class projects and good academic scores to upgrade it. Unlike PGP-ABM, you won’t miss out on basic electives related to marketing/ops/finance.
So nothing is certain about an MBA program. One needs to know what he will be doing after acquiring knowledge to decide which course to take. I will personally suggest you go for IIM Lucknow PGP-ABM if you just want to improve your resume.
Which is better- PGP-FABM from IIM Ahmedabad or PGP from Indore/Kozhikode? Which one should I go for?
No matter whether you study inboth programs. It entirely depends on your interest in the subject. If you are interested in agriculture or in the food sector then think nothing and go for the FABM program but if you are not interested in this field then you can go with the general PGP program at IIM Indore or Kozhikode.
