Best college for management

Tution fees is increasing year by year and it's negative point for poor students like me . The tution fees of whole course is 23 lakh and other expense is approximately 5 lakh in 2 year. Since this is one of the top IIMs in the country, the fees are equally high. It costs around INR 9,00,000 per year. However, the fees are a value for the money, as we are provided with world-class infrastructure, excellent peers, and several certifications that would otherwise cost a lot. Also, since this is an AA-level institution, it is pretty easy to avail of an educational loan without any collateral, which is an added advantage. There are several scholarships available for the students here, the best being the Need-Based Financial Assistance provided to students who are economically weaker but good in academics. Several other scholarship opportunities also exist. Over 50 companies come to recruit each year with more than 50 offers rolled out to the batch of 40 students. The average package of the institute was INR 22,00,000 with the highest package being INR 36,00,000 for the PGP-HRM course.

Fun and Crunch at IIM Indore

The hectic schedule in the first two terms

The fee structure at IIM Indore is about 9 Lakhs per year which includes Hostel Fee, Mess Fee, Tuition Fee, Examination Fee, etc. Mess is however the option in the second year. The fee hike is done periodically by the institute and the same is updated in a detailed format on the website. There are plenty of opportunities to get a student loan from the banks (SBI is on the campus itself). Other banks are also willing to give loans up to 40 Lakhs without any collateral and co-borrower. The Student Exchange Program and Miscellaneous expenses are also covered under this. Need-based scholarships by various prestigious firms are provided to IIM Indore students with criteria of total family income, caste/reservation, academic merit, etc. Live projects are offered throughout the terms from different firms which provide you stipend ranging from INR 5,000 to INR 20,000/per month.

Seeing IIM Indore through the eyes of an HR student

The unnecessary academic stress like scheduling two exams or five classes in a single day

The total fee for PGP-HRM is around 18.3L for two years. It includes tuition fees, hostel fees, a mess deposit for 1st year, caution money, and medical insurance premiums. During 2nd-year participants get a chance to opt out of the mess. The average placement salary is around 20L, so a participant can easily return his loan back in 5-6 years with 30k-40k EMI. The course is not very expensive if compared to the PGP batch of IIM Indore. Top participants even get an average salary package of around 36lacks which is almost the same for PGP thus it becomes easy for them to pay back the loan amount because of the less fee structure compared to PGP. The college offers numerous financial assistance for participants both government and private based on need or their academic excellence. The PGP office sends an email regarding every scholarship with their eligibility to the entire batch, so that interested students can avail of them.
