Likes

The faculty is good teacher scholars and the best thing class size.
There are several scholorships and financial assistance are available throughout the course completion and it really helps the students for a better performance.
Overall experience in this college is very good the facilities are very good and the best part of this college is library , sports events organised every year and the overall facilities are very good.

Dislikes

Hostel are decent room are provided with materials but rooms are bit small meals are pathetic registration process is bit complicated hostel is bit isolated as it it on the top of the hills ....n coverd with forest area
The syllabus is not completed and only some classes were suspended
I don't have so much information about internship but as much a i have knowledge about internship from my friends and senior,internship here are not so well and stipend too both have to be performed more well.

Dr. Hari Singh Gour University - a journey through my life

the first thing I personally immediately noticed and liked about My University was my campus, The campus of DHSGSU, Sagar is very green and lush and very well maintained.
the second ting I really liked was the university sports stadium, a very maintained and well equipped with many sports facilities as well as necessities.
And lastly the seniors and professors I liked very much, they are really supportive and not like the typical seniors or professors we see in movies at all, Really, a great and helpful bunch of people.

Dislikes

The first thing I came to dislike about my University was its management, being a central university our professor are great and even rank in the top 10s of the world but even they are dissatisfied with the slow and unhelpful management.
the second was the infrastructure of the departments, the buildings are raggedy and old and the labs are not up t par so even having great professor doesn't help if they don't have enough resources to teach.
the last was the issue of holiday timings, its personal problem for me that whenever I have an important festival in my home, my university conducts exams on that very day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course Bacholers of science wit the subject combination of Chemistry, Botany and Zoology is a very comprehensive and relevent courese with my focus mainly being on zoology, The departments releted to subject biology mainly including botany and zoology are ranked around top 4 in asia and also have world renowned researchers. My descision was heavily influenced by this fact.

The course I am doing in statistics field is a very great .. it open white opportunities in data science also iss next statistics very data science ... Very interesting subject.. same goes with other subjects like economics, mathematics

Department of applied geology is far better then any other universities or colleges they provide us benefits of geological field visit and also introduce hand specimens of rocks to students.
Campus is good and offers 20+ courses in the field of science with different combinations.
DHSGU Sagar is having its campus on the top of the mountain which looks like Switzerland in monsoon. Our first prime minister Nehru has given this name to university. With the well maintained departments it offers best natural connections to us.

Dislikes

Laboratories in some departments are not maintained even there is lack of modern equipments which are responsible for lack of interest in students
Lack of canteens and local food stalls in University which cause lot of trouble fir students.
Local students are not socially active they are not good in the communication and lack of exposure in them can make some trouble.

Course Curriculum Overview:

• As I have got to know about when I was in counseling in this universities and I have searched for it after studies I got that information geology in this University is best as compared to other universities. • After this all teachers are always giving us real world experience like wise, is first semester we went for field work, in second semester we are studying hand specimens of minerals, in third semester there is rocks. • Difficulty level is quite high in the course but the professors in University makes it easy by there mentoring skills.

Dr. Hari Singh gour University campus was very large and here's library are very useful for students.
This college environment was very nice. And teaching methods was very good.
Museum facilities are very useful for students.

Dislikes

Teacher's are not supporting for students.
Exam timings keep moving back and forth according to the exam calendar.
Most important was this college was Fully opened and security level is very less.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement was started in seventh semester. Students of seventh semester become eligible for campus placement. Placements are provided to you according to your knowledge, personality, body language.

General things about utd.

Likes

Central library it have lots of book and space
Faculty is highly qualified and generous
Internship and placement is provided according to course.

Dislikes

Bachelor's student can't issue more than 2 books.
There are limited programs held by university.
No Fest held by university only gour Utsav held

?two degree at once,internship is provided and placement for certain courses. ?good faculty and more professor required according ratio of students. ?well qualified and good teaching method. ?exam taken according to tume table provided by university and if u study it's easy and if not than it is tough so difficulty level depends on students.

Great Time in Campus

After admission in college, experience a more challenges.and I also like it very much.
The faculty are very co operative to students.

What I think about my university

Likes

Is semester wise examination is held which is useful for students.
Timely classes is running and the students have to attend the class for 75 % attendance.
The opportunity to perform in all the departments program freely

Dislikes

The syllabus is not completed and only some classes were suspended
The open campus is not good according to me
The dress code is not there which I think is not good

We choose bsc + bed and in this course we haveing 4subject (chemistry zoology botany + education) and the each b.sc subjects having their practicals also so we have to face the double examination practical +test theory. And the faculty is good . Student teacher interaction is there .

The silent environment this campus provides is suitable for stidies.
Less pollution in the campus and trees are planted everywhere

The departments are not builed in an ordered way
The departments need to be improved in terms of classroom facilities.
The department washrooms are not cleaned properly

•To develop competencies and skills needed for becoming an effective teacher •It depends upon the availability of faculties but currently its one faculty over a class of 40 students •Faculties are well qualified and the teaching method they use is also good but there is always a scope for development In Each semester we give two Mid exams at any interval of 1 month and the difficulty of semeater exam is moderate

At this Central University, the main focus for placements was on real estate companies. I interviewed with only one company, Geetanjali Estate.
Every year, many companies come to our college to conduct interviews, and the best- performing students are selected.
Scholarships are good for all students. I didnt know that scholarships are also provided for me. We receive feasible scholarships, and SC/ST students also receive scholarships. All students are happy with scholarships.

I took this course because I wanted to a career in computer. The faculty of this college is very good and come and study on time. All faculty have PhD degree. The behavior of the faculty is very good and they understand everything very easily. The course curriculum here is also good. Here term exams are on time.
